New MV "TESTAMENT" & New Album "fuyajou EDEN" - 2020.04.29

ALICE NINE. are releasing their 9th studio album at the end of next month, and it also happens to be their first album as アリス九號. in 11 years! For those who don't know, in the beginning, they described their concept as being a fusion of Japanese and Western styles, which came out much more strongly in their visuals than in their music itself. Now, it's not only their visuals but also the music itself that is reflecting that original concept. If you haven't listened to kakumei kaika in a while, take a moment and go check it out [ here ]!

Delicious, delicious visual kei.
This is the lead track for their new album fuyajou EDEN (不夜城エデン - Nightless City Eden), which will be released on April 29th 2020, as both a regular version and as a Deluxe fanclub-only preorder version. It has 8 tracks (only one of which was a previously-released single), but Saga has explained that the relative brevity of the album compared to others is due to the fact that each song is good enough to stand on its own as a single -- everything on it is deliberate and cohesive as one piece. The culmination of nearly 16 years of experience, a return to their roots. Hiroto also dedicated one of his podcast episodes to explaining how the making of fuyajou EDEN hearkened back to the feel of their very first recording sessions making the "namae wa, mada nai." single.

Notes:
- Track 5 is probably just meant to be read as "ASOBI", as indicated, but I wanted to point out the fact that the title was written in Chinese, not Japanese.
- Track 6 can be read in two different ways, each giving the word a slightly different connotation. zainin carries a general meaning of "criminal" (relating more to the breaking of human laws), while "tsumibito" carries a meaning closer to "sinner" - it has a more moral connotation. I'm interested to see which reading is right...

With the exception of the first live (Hiroto's birthday on the 4th of May) and the finale (Show's birthday on the 5th of July), all the following tour dates are open to use of the above-mentioned bonus tickets:

- FC Gorgeous Limited Edition "Invitation Ticket"
After the live ends, you will be able to have your FC Gorgeous Limited Edition of fuyajou EDEN signed by all 5 members of the band. You must also have purchased a ticket to the live for that evening. You can only have your copy signed once by all 5 members in this manner.
- FC Gorgeous Limited Edition "Fan Meeting Lottery Ticket"
This lottery ticket only applies to the first performance and the finale, and you must have an applicable "serial number" printed on the ticket in order to participate. It is not yet clear exactly what the Fan Meeting event entails, just that you need a serial number on your ticket, and that you must also have a ticket to the live performance for one of the following dates:

■7/05 LINE CUBE SHIBUYA (Shibuya Koukaidou)
