Ch. 10 Summary:
The arrival of the vampire prince gave a shock to Changmin. But the prince didn't intend to arrest him. But Changmin feels so sure that he have a plan and intention. But what intention?

"Your Highness!" Changmin shocked seeing the long black haired boy in front of him
'The prince find me...He know about Jaejoong too... This is not good....what should I do...'
"Why are you looking at me like that Max?" ask the boy. That boy remove his sunglass. Nothing conceal his confused look now.
"You should know one thing, Max." Said that boy again walking to the table near the bed and put his glass there. "I'm not an obedient son to my father, you know."
"You don't want to arrest me?" ask Changmin.
"No."
"You don't want to hurt.... Jaejoong?"
"That boy? why should I hurt him?" He paused. "I want to steal him from you." Add that boy and laughed. Changmin's eyes wider.
"No no it's a joke. But, just like the rumor, that boy is pretty and smells like a flower." Said that boy again .
"Rumor? How far this rumor spread on our land?" Changmin looks worried now. That boy paused a bit.
"Not much. I just hear the chasers talk about finding you on that boy house." The boy answered. Changmin somehow feel more worried.
'Prince, you lie to me...i think it's not just that simple...."
"Then why are you here, Your Highness?" Changmin ask again.
"So, you don't want to see me?"
"N-No! That's not what I meant. I believe there's more reason that you, the prince of the vampires, trouble your self coming here, when the sun still shinning like this." Said Changmin try to make fast explanation.
"I can't stand it anymore, watching my father doing this punishment to the abnormal gene. And my brothers support him. There must be a better solution than doing this." And then that boy looking around, he looks afraid that maybe someone will hear them.
"Their punishment are cruel, Max. Every time the chasers caught one, I always sneak to look the punishment. They made them drink the poison, vampire poison. Maybe normal vampire can die at once. But abnormal gene will have a great pain."
Suddenly a phone in that room ringing.
"Yes hello." Changmin answered the phone.
"Sir, the interview room are ready." Said the girl on the phone.
"Okay, i'm on my way." and the he close the phone.
"Huff....I have to make a different look for my hair." Changmin comb his hair in front of the mirror and use the hair wax. The prince paused, his eyes wider, bit confused.
"Ah yes, he's here." Said the prince smilling, somehow feels teasing for Changmin.
"Your Highness!" Changmin shouting, feeling shy and nervous suddenly. The Prince chuckled.
"Don't you think it's odd to call me 'Your Highness' if your human employers around? Call me Kibum not Your Highness." The prince smilled.

The sky today is very bright, as bright as jaejoong's heart right now. Bellboy, that's the position which Jaejoong finally got. But well, it's not a matter for him. He needs money after all. To continue his life that he don't know what for. Or maybe to continue waiting for something that seems impossible. But somehow he feels happy with his job. Suddenly his cell phone ringing.
"Hello" Jaejoong answered.
"Jae? it's me."
"Ah, Yunho." Jaejoong answered again with big smile.
"How's your interview?" Yunho asking him worriedly.
"They accept me!" Jaejoong gladly said that.
"Wow conratulation Jae!" Yunho's voice congratulate him cheerfully.
"Let's celebrate it, shal we?" Yunho sounds excited when he suddenly sugessted it. Jaejoong smiled shyly when he heard it. He feels that his heart might explode with happiness.
"Yeah, but how about your college task?" Ask Jaejoong.
"It's okay, it's almost finished." Yunho answered sounds optimistic. "Okay, i'll pick you up tonight at 8."
"Okay."
'I'm glad! At last I got the job! Jaejoong smiled by himself.
'But it's weird... the interviewer is weird. It's like he didn't even breathing when he asking me. And other weird thing was he wore a black sun glass, indoor? during interview? why?' Jaejoong bend his brows, confused.
'Hm..maybe he's not feeling well...'
A sound on the rooftop suddenly make Jaejoong startled.
"What's that?" Jaejoong talk to himself. He checked the rooftoop. He surprised with three black shadows jumping from his roof top.

This night is different from any other night. When the people sleeping soundly, another creature still busy with their activity. Changmin suddenly feels uneasy. He standing in front of the window, looking outside. Somehow he feels weird although the moon shines beautifully on the sky. It's almost full moon.
"Changmin-ah...why are you standing there?" Junsu suddenly call him from afar, from the dinning table on that room. "Come on! Your High-- i mean... Kibum brought us delicious blood. Do you want some?" Ask Junsu again. His voice is just like a happy bird in the morning.
"Yeah." Changmin answering and left the window joining three vampires on the dinning chair.
"The moon is beautifull right, Changmin." Kibum suddenly said that, smilling at him.
"Yeah...it's beautifull." Changmin answered but he's confused.
"So... may I ask something?" Ask Yoochun suddenly to Kibum.
"Sure, what do you want to ask me?"
"Why do you come here? Is there a problem that we can help you?" Ask Yoochun. He surprised when he saw Kibum after he woke up this evening. Kibum smilled.
"It's a long story. It's just that, I want to stop my father. But it seems that I have no power against them. All my brothers support him. I'm just youngest child, I'm just the third prince. I will not gaining any important role in the kingdom. *sigh* Well, I'm just looking for the place to calm me down here and think some plan." Said Kibum, and then he sip the blood in the glass.
"It's so frightening, what they did to punish the abnormal gene." Said Kibum again and then sip the blood again.
"What have they done?" Ask Junsu curious.
"They gave him "Veronica Bounquet". Kibum answered.
"What's that?" Changmin asked.
"It's the vampire poison that I told you this morning."
"Veronica Bounquet. It's a deadly poison to vampire." Said Yoochun with serious experession,
"But why does it has that cute name?" Ask Changmin.
"Ah I remember a scary story that father ever told me before I sleep. If I'm not mistaken, the name of the vampire woman on that story is Veronica. It's soo scary...I can't sleep...I lost my appetite at that time... I was scared that Veronica woman might come when we sleep and poisoning our blood stock. So that poison being named with that woman name on that horor story."
"It's not just ordinary story to scare children, it's real." Said Kibum chuckled.
"Whaat?? woaah! Not again...." Junsu shocked, and then he scared covering his ears as if he don't want to hear the story again.
"Don't worry Junsu-ah. You can sleep with me in my room." Said Yoochun somehow sounds naughty.

"That Veronica woman is real. I don't know for sure whether 'Veronica' is her real name. She likes human and respect them, she never hates them. That's why she became a reputable doctor and pharmacist in human land. She wanted to help sick human. Her vampire ability was to extract the poison inside the human blood, inside the food or from the plants. One day she fall in love with the human man, he is one of her patient. Even though the man know the truth in the end, he was not scared and marrying her. Then they have a baby they cherished soo much. But the strange thing is, the baby is human. Human born from vampire womb. Not a single sign that the baby is a vampire or half vampire like abnormal gene." Yoochun start to tell the story.
"Maybe because, the father still human? Veronica didn't change him right?" Ask Changmin.
"According to the story, no. She didn't changed him. That's why since that problem, all marriage with human have a special term, they have to change their mate into vampire first." Kibum added.
"Then one night, their house surrounded by the chasers from vampire defence council. Veronica sense them, sense the danger that might threath her family." Yoochun continue the story. "So the husband asked her to runaway with the baby and asked her to protect the baby. Because human can't run fast. Veronica runaway, with the baby. But soon she realise that it's just a matter of time until she get caught and can't protect the baby. So, she left the baby in front of random house, hoping that human can help and raise her baby."
"Then Veronica go back to her house. She found the dead body of her husband. It makes her hates vampires and all the rules. She took revenge on the vampires by creating poison that can't kill humans but can kill vampires. it said that, afte that she came to the King bounquet and pour the poison secretly. So many vampire died after that and Veronica dissapear. So that's why the poison named "Veronica bounquet". It will kill vampire and don't have any effect on human, but if abnormal gen drinks it it will cause the great pain, because of their half blood."
"Hm.. the story is slight different with the story I heard when I was child...Now I feel sorry for her..." Junsu commented.
"So how about the baby? What happen with the baby then? Is it male? or female?" Changmin curious.
"That's unknown. No one knows about the baby. Years after years, vampire council looking for the baby but they ddn't find anything. It said that the baby have a delicious blood and delicious smell. But after that night, they can't sense the baby." Said Kibum. The others seems curious.
"Oh yeah, by the way Changmin, can I have a bit of your blood?" Ask Kibum.
"You...want my blood?" Ask Changmin, staring Kibum with suspicion.
"Just a bit...I'm curious." Kibum smilled. He grab Changmin's left hand, he looking at Changmin's wrist. He looking at Changmin with 'May I?' expression and then he bite his wrist. They can hear that he drink it once.
"Hmm....indeed your abnormal blood is unique. It's texture, it's taste." Said Kibum while wiping the blood that almost dripping in the corner of his mouth. Changmin's blood stil dripping. Then, Kibum took a clean glass bottle and put a bit of Changmin's blood in it. "I want to have your blood sample. I want to check something."
"Why? do you have any suspicion that our mother...maybe our grandmother from our mother is Veronica?" Ask Junsu with his cheerfull and mocking sounds.
Kibum chuckled and said, "if the result yes, what are you gonna do?" with mocking glare and smile.
"Ok, Ok Junsu-ah. You will sleep with me this morning." Yoochun teasing the scared Junsu.

That night, Kibum back to guest room prepared for him. He is ready to test the blood samples he got. He even took his own blood. But suddenly he smell another blood, a slight, thin smell of blood. It's not from one of his blood sample. It's from another place.
'Whose blood is this?' Kibum curious. He opens the window. His face suddenly looks frightened. He remembered about the boy who hit him this morning.
'This?! It's that boy!'
Kibum closed the window, he make sure that no windows open in that house. He go back to his room, close the door. He grab a black coat and jump from the window before someone chasing that smell.

Oh yeah I'm almost forgot. This Veronica character in this story is purely my imagination. If theres an actress with Veronica name, maybe Korean or western, this got nothing to do with them. This is purely imaginative. But Kibum here is indeed Kibum from Suju. You can say that he is a guest star in this story.
