Katekyo Hitman Reborn is such a flawless manga. In just two days, I'm already on chapter 231 in the future arc and it is fantastic!!! If I absolutely had to choose a favorite character, I guess I would go with Hibari because he's just my type of guy. Violent and just amazing. XD Plus his signature line "I'll bite you to death." LOVE IT. And who doesn't love tonfas, amirite? Yes? Lol, anyways. Favorite character after him would be Gokudera, because he just keeps getting stronger and stronger and he's so adamant about becoming Tsuna's right hand man. Plus, when he finally gets his cat, Uri, I just couldn't stop squealing. And then Uri turned into a super badass leopard and kicked ass, and I just started hyperventilating.
Look at how cute this cat is. And the love-hate relationship between Gokudera and the cat is just beautiful. Freaking love it.
Anyways, moving on to Yamamoto. I feel like the mangaka doesn't really like him very much. In the beginning, he was fine and hilarious and always like "ahahaha this game is so funny!!!". But then after the battles started for awhile, every single time he has a battle, he always loses and disappears until the end of the arc where he shows up in the hospital or whatever. :/ And I feel like he had the least amount of improvement in his powers. He goes from a special baseball bat to a katana style that granted, is awesome, but other than that, so far, he really hasn't gotten anymore powers... :(
BUT BACK TO HIBARI WHY IS HE SO FLAWLESS AND POWERFUL AND I AM JUST A LITTLE OBSESSED ;ALKDJG;ALKSDF
So after reading the manga for awhile, I decided I wanted to check out the anime so I started watching it again. I'm currently on episode 11 and while I like it so far, I have to admit, I probably prefer the manga. Except omigosh Lambo is sooooo cuuuutttteeeee. Before I kinda just thought of him as one those characters that are important but are just sorta there, but after watching the anime, I looovvveee him; he's absolutely adorable. I also noticed that they gave him alot more screentime, most likely to make sure that people didn't forget about him since he's an important ring holder and all. :)
Oh and I really like the first opening theme song (only one I've heard so far). It suits the first arc's sorta gagish playful tone. By the way, I decided that the first arc was absolutely crucial in introducing the characters, their talents, strengths, weaknesses, and then developing the bond between the main characters. But after reading the manga and then watching the anime afterwards, it kinda seems too slow cause I'm used to all he fighting lol. But yes, anyways... MORE PICTURES:
