Hyper Japan outfit pics + stuff
Belated but oh well!
I posted all my people pics on Facebook right after Hyper Japan, but I thought I should post some pics here since I use this journal mostly for outfits and stuff....
I only went to HJ on Saturday this time. I decided to wear a comfy layered Cult Party-style coord rather than lolita, and it was supposed to be a pretty chill morning, but it ended up being a bit of a disaster. While getting ready, I managed to stub my toe on a chair and rip my nail off, which just wouldn't stop bleeding. As my outfit was all-white, I had to wait for the bleeding to stop before putting anything on. Then I proceeded to burn one of my hair pompoms with the hair dryer. And by the time we got there, my contact lenses had irritated my eyes so much, that they were hurting like hell and everything was blurry. The consensus seemed to be that going blind is not a good thing, so I ended up taking them off and chucking them away....

Hair Pompoms: Topshop (with some added lace by me)
Stockings: Ann Summers lol
Small personal disasters aside, I had a pretty good time. I really enjoyed seeing everyone again. The fashion show was amazing, Baby, the Stars shine Bright had a stall and there were quite a few cute shops in general. Me & Cordelia got interviewed for Marie Clare, and we were still cringing about all the stuff we said the following day! I hope they don't end up publishing my part. The MC photographer was really cute and friendly though, I really liked her.
Kinda happy/sad part: I traded my Little Bear's Café skirt! I really really loved that print, it is still one of my favourites, but I just wasn't wearing it. So I traded it for a pink x black Melty Chocolate skirt. I wasn't a huge fan of Melty Choc to begin with, but it's grown on me and it will be easier to coord and wear more often than LBC. Here it is with the Milky Pony bag I got recently, they go so well together!
And a heart-shaped chocolate box ring that I got at Hyper Japan from Patisserie Pink to match it:
