Reclusive

I have only been out of the house three times in the last three weeks, and to be perfectly honest, not sure I've wanted to either. I still hurt a bit, and on the days I don't hurt, if I do things I make myself hurt. :? Last night I went to sleep OK, but woke up hurting several times and also had night sweats. Nothing better than waking up damp, hot and hurting. At least I'm not taking the percocet anymore... just tylenol and ibuprofen.

I will be so ready for these damn surgical drains to come out... nothing better than having tubes coming out of your body to fill little bulbs with fluid that you have to empty... grr. And, if you move wrong and pull on them.. ugh. Let's not even mention trying not to get them wet in the shower.

One bane, benefit of my woes is that I have trouble eating very much. The first week I barely ate at all, but I'm slowly able to eat more. I'm down 20lbs since the surgery. Bad part is worried about trying to get nutrition so I heal properly, good thing is "down 20lbs". Not that you can tell, because my belly is still swollen from the surgery and may stay that way for up to 4 months. :/
