Updates! So, it was my birthday on Wednesday. I am now twenty-one, which I am not happy about. But I did have a good day. I saw Heena - that's my friend with the baby, and yes, I also saw the baby. Pretty much the minute we sat down I was like "Gimme!" Which she did, and I had a very long bonding session.
We also spent a great deal of time in Boots and The Body Shop, because Heena has finally rubbed off on me and is making me get decent makeup, like foundation and lipstick. I had to have a foundation test (mandatory, according to Heena) and found out that my complexion is "strawberries and cream", that I have "high colour", and that the colour foundation I need is "porcelain." I think these are all polite words for "pasty and blotchy" personally.
Also, am planning a complete redecoration of my room, at my parents' funding (which will be my birthday present). New furniture (I've found some really pretty faux-vintage stuff, which I've spent the last week drooling over) and a new colour scheme; dark purple and mink-fawn. So that's exciting.
Saturday before my birthday, the Parents, Boyfriend and I went to TGI Friday's, where I ate an obscene amount of food, and The Boyfriend presented me with two present; the complete works of Edgar Allen Poe from his parents, which was great because I've been meaning to get it for about four years now, and from him The Artwork Of The Avengers, which is massive and full colour and all glossy and came in a box because it's so awesome, and it has, like, original costume designs and set designs and interviews and storyboards for some of the fight scenes. IT IS GLORIOUS. I spent most of the meal stroking it and when it was suggested we move it before the waitress came back with the food, I hissed and turned into Gollum. "MY PRECIOUSSSS!"
If you remember from my Christmas update, I mentioned The Boyfriend had got me another present that I didn't have yet because it hadn't arrived in the post yet. Well I know what it is now! In June, we are going to the Warner Bros Making Of Harry Potter studio tour!!!! I GET TO WANDER AROUND THE SETS OF THE HARRY POTTER MOVIES YOU GUYS HOW IS THAT NOT THE MOST EXCITING THING EVER. The sweetest part of the whole thing is that The Boyfriend has never seen the movies, because he doesn't want them to ruin the books for him. He is the best boyfriend ever.
