I love how you switch back and forth between internal monologue and external dialogue, and it's always clear what's being spoken and what's being thought. That must be challenging. This chapter was as wonderful as ever...

Yes!!! This is something I've shamefully neglected to compliment. Good, good job with that, I know we intersperse a lot of dialogue with thoughts in recent chapters, and you're handling it beautifully without having to add any awkward narrative clues.

You know, when you started doing that regularly, I was suddenly really glad that I had different voices for people actually speaking and for narration. Although sometimes I get confused myself; I'll be reading out a fairly long bit of speech, then there'll be some internal monologuing, which I won't notice, and keep on going in the character's voice. Which is really frustrating!
