Podfic Updates
So, many updates for podfics. Sylvester is super noisy lately; I think he needs a blast of compressed air, which I will remember to do at some point.
I've been feeling really uninspired and unenthusiastic recently, but I think I'm coming back out of that. I've also got a part time volunteer job and have been going to bed at sensible times, and given that I used to do most of my podficcing at night, that's severely cut down on the time I have for it. But I think I'm getting back in the rhythm, so yay!
A Monster By Any Other Name: I've got about ten minutes of Chapter Two recorded. I've not been allowing myself to read the newest chapters/timestamps until I've caught up with the recordings. Which is not a clever plan, but... (so brosedshield, lavinialavender, that's why I've not been commenting. IT'S NOT BECAUSE I DON'T LOVE YOU)
We Three Kings 'verse: I am dithering between recording One Of The Chief Princes or Simon Says next. The pros of the latter is that it's much shorter, and chronologically it does come first, so it's not like it would be confusing or anything. But I do kinda want to record them in the order they were written. But that means another good two hours of recording, and given that I am now recording Part Two of Freak Camp (whereas when I did the first story for this 'verse, Part One was finished, and I was taking a break before starting with Part Two) it's gonna take a while before I'm done. Decisions, decisions.
vail_kagami: So I did a beta job for her a few months ago, without actually registering who she was until after I'd sent her the finished fic. And then I sent her a pretty gushing email along the lines of "OHMYGOD, I LOVE YOUR STUFF SOOOO MUCH, I HAVE HALF YOUR MASTERLIST ON MY PODFIC-TO-DO LIST!" So that gave me the kick in the pants to get started with that. Currently, I am about halfway through Family Games. I'm also intending to do Drawing Outlines (Of Us With Chalk On The Asphalt), One Breath, Getting Lower Ever Since, and her Necessary Evil 'verse. Because it's more fun having loads of things to look forward too. (And I have just realised that I've not friended her, despite being sure I did that before Christmas. Fail. Will go rectify that.)
A Little Experimentation: The final of the three podfics I promised insertcode11, like, six months ago or something. Why this one has taken me so long to get around to, I have no idea. Laziness, I think. And the fact that for a while, most of my podfic plans were put on hold in my desperation to get Part One of Freak Camp finished.
So that's what we have to look forward to for 2012. Yay!
