A Full Week - a Full Day
I had a great few days off. Spent time with people I love and also went to the beach... well the Jersey beach but it still had sand and the ocean... I love the ocean. It rejuvenates me. I did get to eat an Easter Egg.... weee! I made a deal with myself that if I did not have any the whole pre Easter period that I could have 1-2 on Easter. I would have usually eaten a box or two before Easter but have reformed to some healthier habits.
I got a bunch of stuff done this past week. I hooked up a new wireless printer, secured my internet, assembled my new exercise bike and even got a new phone. go me!
I got a Pantech Duo (AT&T) phone and opted to go for unlimited web and unlimited texting. I also got a bluetooth headset. I'm still figuring out how to use it all but it's fun.
My other recent purchases were some clothes for summer, particularly some bathing suit and the like stuff. I wasn't that successful getting good sizes so some has to go back. I bought them online as the stores just have the ugliest things.
I went back to work today and had a very full day. My day ended with a meeting with my boss and a few of his other managers. He announced that he had just resigned. We were a lil surprised but not totaly. He's been there for 2 years but had not been able to get changes made that he wanted to. The organization just fights change so much. Anyhoo, we don't know yet who we'll be reporting to now but I sure hope it's not a to any of the guys who use to work for me. *crosses fingers* We have to keep this quiet for a few days but, yep, interesting news to come back to. I said it was a full day now didn't I.
