It's been awhile...
So, I have decided that the weather cannot decide whether it's really June or not. I had to work for 7 hours outside on Tuesday, which was incredibly cold and not fun. Then I have to work again tomorrow, which is supposed to be almost 90 degrees. That's going to be icky too. Crazy Michigan! Oh well, I love this state so I suppose I'll deal.
On to deeper subjects besides the weather...I had a chance to go to Subiaco this past weekend! It was a very Divinely inspired opportunity, so I went. It was a young adult retreat that happens one weekend each year. It was soooo wonderful to be in that amazingly peaceful place. I just feel so close to God there. It was also really inspiring to me to be surrounded by other college students who love their Catholic faith and are leaders in their communities. I met some awesome people and really hope to go back next year! It was incredibly last minute notice when I found out about it, but it was an excellent experience!
I've been babysitting more lately as well. I really missed it and am excited to be able to do it again. The family I mostly babysit for are just awesome kids, though they can be nightmares too. haha. I just enjoy being able to play with and hang out with kids again.
I know this is short, but I need to eat dinner and go to the mentoring program. I will hopefully update more later. Have a lovely end of the week as the weather warms up! :)
