What a nice day
So today ended up being a pretty nice day outside. It didn't actually get very warm, I doubt above 60, but there wasn't a cloud in the sky.
I got up, had breakfast and took a shower and got ready for the day. Josh mowed the backyard (finally) and then washed my car while I got dressed and did the dishes. Theres a lot to do around the house but it was so pretty outside I just had to get out in that sun, so we decided to take Dezul down to a park and let him swim in the river. We took him to a boat launch where the water was calmer cause I didn't want him being swept away in the current! After we were done I totally kicked myself for not bringing my camera, I could have totally got some cute pics!!
Anyways afterwords we came back home and Josh BBQ'd some burgers for dinner and I made some vanilla wafer cookies. I'd never made them before but my mom gave me this yummy smelling soap from philosophy for Xmas and they all smell like different foods and actually have the recipe on the bottle for whatever it is they smell like so I tried it out! They turned out pretty good, not a lot of flavor but they're just little vanilla cookies so guess they're not really suppose to be full of flavor lol.
After dinner we just sat around and watched TV. OH! I also got a letter from one of my new pen pals today so I wrote back and drove to the post office on my way to the park and dropped it off!
