Catchup
Last weekend was LOTS of fun with Sam. My True Blood Season 2 dvds had come in, so we had a Marathon before season 3 starts.
We also had ordered the actual Tru Blood beverage HBO sells on their website:
It actually tastes pretty good! It has a slight orange flavor to it, along with a hint of carbonation. It IS pricy, but it's fun to have once in a while :) We both really liked it, and we're going to try a sangria recipe with it next :)
We stayed up REALLY late watching it, til 5am! Thankfully that following Monday was Memorial Day, so there wasn't any work I had to worry about.
We had such a fantastic weekend though :D
In other news, since my lease at my current apartment ends this September, I'm going to be moving to a new place, and, for the last time until I move into a certain person's house sometime next year, permanently ;)
This weekend was fun as usual too. We didn't have any marathons, but we did watch a few movies: Role Models, Something About Mary, Wall-E, and Tropic Thunder. We've seen them before, but we still enjoy them. Sam made his delicious burritos for dinner, and we had a couple glasses each of some Takara Plum wine. It's our one of our absolute favorite as far as plum wines go:
I'm excited though. This place is brand-spankin'-new, has a parking garage, elevator (much better than walking up 3 flights of stairs with groceries), and it's a corner unit, with a LARGE corner balcony :)
In a couple months or so, I'll be able to post up some other good news. :) TTFN
