Monday, I worked in the front office answering phones, making appts, etc. I had 3 stupid things happen:
- A mom called and asked if we could give adult vaccinations (apparently doesn't understand what pediatrics means even though her kids go there)
- A dad called and asked if we could swab him for swine flu, and asking if we REALLY couldn't even though his kids go there (see above ie pediatrics)
- A mom faxed over a health form for her child's camp. When asked when she needed this by, she replied, "Well, it was kind of already due..." *sigh* So I took a look at it. In the margins she had written "Due by May 1st." MAY FIRST? *checks calendar on monday* IT'S MAY 11TH. Really?! Ten days later and you finally get around to it to fax it to us, only to let us know you need it right away? FOR F'S SAKE.
/end monday/
Tuesday was GREAT.
- Somewhere in the vicinity of maybe 2 miles, on the side of the road I was driving on, there were 2 accidents. REALLY?? Come on!!!!
- Cut off 3 times on the interstate
- Cut off 3 times on another interstate nearing school
- Patience was non-existent by this point
- Had a not fun female problem occur during class, really wanted to GTFO, but sat there for an hour anyway until I had to leave.
Although, Tuesday evening was very nice, as Sam invited me over to experience his delicious homemade fried chicken and homemade chocolate mousse. I've been assigned a mission to find his friend a nice girl who loves punk music, Irish stuff, and crotch-rockets. We watched Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story on blu ray, and just cuddled until I went home sometime before midnight.
Today was finally a decent day.
Tomorrow hopefully will be okay.
Friday will be nice as I don't have to be in to work til 9:45am.
I took the last Friday of the month off because, well, I hardly ever take time off from work, and I really need a break.
That's everything in a nutshell. Oh, and some grades so far: A in Nursing, A in computers, and I don't know what I have in math yet.
