Short But Sweet
I'm happy that Sam made it here for Valentine's Day. He was so tired after working at the H&G show though. We had a subdued night, just laying on the couch together. We watched the latest episode of Battlestar Galactica (the ending of this episode disappointed me), and went to bed. I got him some peanut butter Girl Scout cookies that he likes.
I kept waking up last night for some reason though, and I finally got sick of it. Got up, took some Nyquil, and I finally got some sleep. That would account for the weird dreams I had last night I guess.
Woke up early, because Sam had to leave to get ready for the LAST day of the H&G show. I made him some yummy scrambled eggs with red onion, basil, salt, and pepper (it tastes really good), and coffee the way we both like it. He was out the door by 8. I'm so glad that this thing is only once a year though. It sure does make people tired! As fun as it was when I went, I'm glad it's over with.
