Two For One Special

Christmas

Christmas was lots of fun. I stayed here in CO, mom stayed in FL, as neither of us were willing to fly so soon after my cousin's wedding.

Christmas Eve, Sam came over. I had originally planned on just being here at my place by myself, so it was an extremely pleasant surprise when Sam sent me a message with "You have dinner yet?" :D I had secretly been hoping he'd come over anyway. I don't know why I'd been secretly hoping it. I could have just asked him to come over. He just makes me feel that butterflies-in-my-stomach giddy feeling all the time I guess ♥

He left the next morning, and I went over to his parent's house around noon to spend Christmas day with everybody. I got a few more gifts from his family that I thought were really nice and thoughtful. His sister gave me a pair of handpainted wine glasses. His brother and his girlfriend gave me a $50 gift card to the world's largest liquor store, and his mom gave me some sweet Mary Kay gifts that I liked. His parents had already given me (and Sam as well) a super nice gift of my spa experience at the Omni Hotel.

Sam got a Home Depot gift card, a weapon that I can't remember the name of, and we were both given some cool dvd's. The sixth season of Family Guy, The Cult of Cartman, and a Futurama dvd I can't remember the name of yet. I'd look it up, but I'm too lazy.

Sam's gift to me was my laptop he gave me a short while ago. It was a birthday/Christmas present, since it was super nice and cost him a pretty penny. I didn't mind that one bit :D

Sam's mom made a delicious Christmas lunch. Pot roast, mashed potatoes, corn, bread, gravy, and some salad.

That was such a great time for me. I love spending time with Sam and his family on the holidays. :)

New Year's

NYE was spent with Sam here at my place. I never mind staying home on a holiday since I'm not into the big holiday party scene. Sam and I had some drinks, made some quesadillas, and we crashed pretty early. Never made it to midnight. Then again, that wasn't a goal of ours anyways. I wished him a Happy New Year when we got up though. Again, I have to say ( as you all can probably tell from EVERY single post about Sam), I absolutely love the time I spend with him. =)

We woke up late this morning, and neither of us was really feeling a regular breakfast, so I made us some coffee and cheesy garlic bread.

After cleaning ourselves up, I went with Sam back to the house to pick up his brother, and I went with the two of them to see their houses they recently bought. I can't wait to see what Sam does with his house in the future. =)

Came back here, and Sam headed out to dinner with a friend of his.

I'm actually pretty tired, so tonight may be an early night for me. I'm glad I only have a half day of work tomorrow though. I can get some more stuff done around my place that I wanted to do. Hope everyone had a fun New Year's! :)
