Awesome 3 day weekend
This past weekend was tons of fun. Sam came over and bought me a grill at Home Depot for my deck. I was so excited :D He always thinks of the nicest things for me, and I love that about him. ♥ I made our favorite grilled chicken recipe, and Sam grilled it on our new grill! It came out SOOOO much more delicious than pan-grilling it.
We've become big fans/addicts of the tv show Battlestar Galactica. LOVE LOVE LOVE this show. We've been watching that every weekend recently. Right now we're on the last disc of Season 2, and We've got a couple discs from Netflix for Season 2.5. I REALLY want to watch the new ones on tv and the ones on On Demand, but I don't want to get ahead of the story. The suspense is killing me though!!
We had mead and wine throughout the night as well. We have such an awesome time together. ♥ To all my friends who know me in real life, if you ever get to meet him in person, you'll love him and see how awesome we are together :D
Sunday Sam went home, and I went to get some sun out at our pool. You would think that given the size of this community, the pool would be larger. Oh well.
Monday was Memorial Day, but it was soooo dreary here. Grey, rainy, and chilly. No fun in the sun for me. :( I hung out at home and did some laundry, and then went over to Sam's house to celebrate his mom's birthday. We had a good dinner- grilled steaks, potato salad, deviled egg potato salad, it was SOOOOO yummy. I watched some of the new computer game Sam bought, and then headed home around 9-something.
Tomorrow's my Friday. I stopped at Lowe's after work today and bought a few plants to plant in my flower box outside. I got a couple petunia plants, some salvia, and some lavender. It all looks sooo pretty. Once I'm able to take some decent pics, I'll show you all how it came out. I'm all proud of myself. :)
So that's it for now. I'm just doing more laundry at the moment and watching Ghost Hunters. Dying for my 3 day weekend to start so I can spend time with Sam and watch some more Battlestar. :D
