Aye yai yai
What a DAY. I have post-nasal drip irritated throat (yuck), my ears and nose are all plugged up, and I'm starting to lose my voice. That's just the tip of the iceberg though.
Work was going alright today until I took a sick 22 month-old boy to the exam room. While I was asking the dad some questions, the little boy just up and fell backwards. No tripping over anything, no nothing. He smacked his head pretty hard on the tile floor. He started crying for a bit and the dad was holding him and consoling him, then all of a sudden the dad told me to get the doctor because he had started seizing. We had to give him oxygen and tylenol (had a high fever), and we called an ambulance too. That was enough excitement for the day. Yeesh. The doctor said it was a febrile seizure, but still, it ain't no cup of tea when that stuff happens. You don't know what could have really caused it. I hope the little guy's alright.
Today was payday at least. Yay! But, Sam still doesn't have internet access. BOOOOOO.
I'm just tired. So glad it's the weekend and I don't have to work. Whew!
