OH GOD I THINK MY SOUL JUST FELL OUT

NO, REALLY

There's a bit in a Too Much Coffee Man comic about TMCM's origins, involving radioactive coffee beans. And there's this kid who drinks the coffee and melts into a puddle, and TMCM is like WOE IS ME, FOR I STOOD BY AND WATCHED WHILE THE BOY DIED and then he leaps up and slips in the puddle, and the waitress is like "PLEASE leave, I have a puddle-of-a-person to mop up."

I feel like a puddle-of-a-person.

(That thing about the anti-terrorist attack dophins reminds me of the "What goes 'woof woof boom'?" question thread on QI. Everything begins and ends with QI, obviously.)

MOOZIKTYME

I got my Megaupload pages mixed up a bit, so if song DOES NOT EQUAL song summary, plz to tell me.

1. The Secret Affair - Time for Action (live)
The mod revival anthem of DANCING ALLA TIME. Slightly dodgy sound quality, but I'm a sucker for audience singalongs, and this is the ultimate singalong song. Very snotty, very upbeat, slightly drunk.

2. The Pogues - The Old Main Drag
Shane MacGowan, before he ran himself into the ground with booze and smack, was a brilliant poet. A teenager comes to London, whores himself for drugs, gets beaten up, gets raped, and it's the MOST BEAUTIFUL SONG EVER. Only Shane could pull that off, man.

3. Cannibal Ox - Stress Rap
A head-nodder. The production seems messy at first, and the beat's a little farther down in the mix than you might expect - it's not one of El-P's machine-stabbity-stabbity songs - but by the end of the song everything clicks into place. And ''I wear knowledge like a third-degree burn'' is still my favorite line from a song ever. Very chill, very pretty, very driving-around-late-at-night.
