i really really like this :D

all the people all make sense in their new roles and cultural identities. brax playing cards and sucking up to romana (in a way that makes her angry - everything they say to each other is my favourite) is lovely as is narvin offering leela a coat and not wanting to talk to people/leela siding with him a bit adn them talking about the ways in which people are awful to them (and narvin respecting that her life is less awesome and she deserves his respect and pity this early into their relationship. v nice). i also like how strangely dangerous romana is in this. it's unexpected - and awesomecool. it makes me want romana turned evil to be the villain next year or something.

i wish there was more, though! it feels like a beginning and i still don't reeeeeally know what is going on with romana past/future (and i'm interested enough that i really want to, argh) or have any idea what arkadian could possibly be gaining by these events - so what i am saying is, please write another 3000 words, thank you, this would be awesome :D

Thank you! And yeah, dangling plot threeeaaads. Honestly, idk what Arkadian is up to either. You'd think with all the conman/crime caper movies I watch, I'd be amazing at writing clever schemes, but nope.

maybe you are are do not know it yet - even brax was not always as good at twisty clever schemes as he now is... (ok, this is not that good, but they are entertaining. and that is something).
