Thank goodness for the early afternoon!

So I'm writing this scene in my NaNo and I'm getting incredibly frustrated because I'm coming up against all these problems with the plot. And I'm worrying that I'll have to go back and add to earlier scenes, or will have to explain important stuff way later than would be appropriate, or will have to work things into scenes later on in awkward ways...

And then I change the time of day in the scene from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. And in doing so all the problems get resolved.

I love when things like this happen.
