At least now we know that the fire alarm works

Guys I got my first flame!!

For That Darn Briefcase:

I'm sorry but that was absolutely horrible, Slade is an evil mastermind he knows everymove the titans make, and you didn't even say what they files were about. I mean really I dont mean to be rude but that stunk.
A2B

As far as flames go that's not even very flame-y, but yes! I have officially been flamed! I'm so honored. No, but really, I'm not upset even in the slightest, and it is a relief. I'm so ridiculously over-sensitive that I used to have actual panic attacks after posting to ff.net for fear of getting flamed, but honestly, I'm not freaking out at all. I don't think I'm even doing to bother to delete it. My main reactions are 1. Wow, that is an old fic, and 2. I like how s/he says "I don't mean to be rude but that stunk." That's along the lines of "No offense, but I hate your face." I HATE the "no offense" line, because it makes no sense. God, if you're going to flame me, at least do a good job about it. Loser. Because really, while I'm not upset, it is a fact that s/he is a loser. You know it's true.

And haha, okay, I again didn't realize there was going to be a theme to this entry, but this time it's fire. An hour and a half ago I was cooking dinner, and I succeeded in setting off the fire alarm. Pretty cool, right? Oh God, it was loud. The fire alarm in the kitchen at my dad's house was even more sensitive than I am, so it would go off if we so much as used the microwave (which is actually ridiculously hilarious, now that I think about it). But it's been such a long time since I've had the privilege of hearing a fire alarm go off that I forgot that they really deserve their own level on the Annoying Scale. Wow. And then it turned off, but 5-10 minutes later I heard a fire engine outside, and I was worried that it was coming to our apartment. I should add that while I was worried I'd have brought out the whole fire brigade for a false alarm, I was really more worried about the fact that had it been a real fire, that would have been kind of a long time to wait for the fire engine to show up.

And in conclusion, 1,723 words into NaNo! And so far not a single mention of fire! I think I may have to change that.

how lame, fire!, how cool is that?, nanowrimo, oh snap!, fic
