Summary: Coulson isn't dead - well, he was for 30 seconds or so. He's been in intensive care, but Fury told everyone that he died so as to give them purpose. So when he gets better, he turns up to see Clint. And Clint just... let's him in. Talks to him quite casually. "I got a new bow." "Cup of coffee for you, drink it before it gets cold." "We took Steve to see the Dodgers last week, I think he really liked it." Phil is terribly confused until Clint just looks up at him with the tiniest frown on his face and says, very quietly, "You never usually stay this long."
Rating: PG-13-ish

Five Ways in Which Steve Rogers is a Thoroughly Modern Man (+1 Way he Isn't) by

Summary: Steve isn’t used to this new world. Clothing doesn’t fit the same, food tastes different, even people sound different. Some days he can put it to the back of his mind and focus on being the 'Golden Boy' America expects him to be, but sometimes he can't handle it and just needs to lock himself in his room to face his problems. Because some days crying and yelling it out is what we really need.

I got my hair trimmed for the first time in 18 months today. Just a few more months, and then I'm chopping it allll off again.
Um, so I just left this entry open for about four hours while I had dinner and watched this movie called
Footnote. It was a pretty good movie, I guess; it was surprisingly cool visually and made excellent use of sound and silence. Even though I don't really understand what happened. You win some, you lose some.
I treated myself to some
aloe vera moisturizing gloves yesterday, because ow, my haaaands. On that note, if anyone has any magical eczema cures that they're willing to share, I would be eternally grateful. Seriously. Ow.
In other news, I don't know why I always end up setting up camp in the dining room to do my LJ-ing. It's not exactly the warmest room in the house. Whatever.
