Cultured but classless, what with the masses
Um. Is there a reason there's no trailer for the next episode of Avatar online? I am furious like Hera.
Oh my goodness, so Halloween is in TWO DAYS! I simply cannot wait any longer. I finished my Toph costume yesterday, and let me tell you, it's probably the most succesfull thing I've ever made. It was challenging but I managed to pull it all together and it's really pretty awesome. My favorite part is the headband, which I'll most definitely still be wearing after Halloween.
I feel a little guilty going as an Avatar character when I have so many other fandoms that I've been into for so much longer. But I already did Terra and Jinx, and Yumi's (original) Lyoko uniform is too complex. And I still haven't figured out who I could be from James Bond or the Marvel U. And anyway, there're other times to dress up. I still want to put together Aelita's real world outfit (this one) for regular, everyday clothes (it looks so COMFY!) and someday I'd like to make Terra's apprentice uniform and Donna's Wonder Girl outfit (and go on the subway wearing it, but that's another story). I also showed my mom a picture of Suki and the Kyoshi Warriors, and she offered to help me make their uniform if I ever wanted to. I'm thinking of wearing my Toph costume to Comic Con next year, which would be pretty exciting.
I'm pretty sure there's other stuff I wanted to say but now I can't remember. I've got to go do some school reading before I can write/read fics/watch Toph earthbend.
