Ah, one final out of the way, three to go. No more papers. The semester is winding down. I am out of here at noon on Wednesday the 14th. I can't wait to see everyone. Thanksgiving was such a tease. Those hours at Mike's house were amazing, and I can't fathom how much I'm looking forward to spending several weeks with everyone again.
After Christmas I'm going up to Orcas Island with Quinton for four or five days. His grandmother lives up there on a huge piece of property in the woods. The best part? His grandmother happens to be incredibly liberal and does not look down us sharing a bed, in fact she probably expects it. Sleeping and waking up next to someone is such a good feeling. I am really looking forward to doing that for several days straight. And being on Orcas again will be phenomenal. The last time my family went up there I was 16. We'd gone up every spring since I was 7 or 8. I absolutely love that island. I can honestly say it's one of my favorite places in the world, up there with Dublin and the Jersey shore. It'll be interesting to go up there with Quinton, and not go to the same place my family has gone for the past decade. Seeing the island from a different place will be startling and refreshing. Will it be the same at all? I am so excited to see what happens.
Hmm I kind of feel like going to the library to study for my poli sci final. Part of me is severely intimidated by it. That class has not gone well for me, despite my love of the subject matter. The professor is a flop. He doesn't want to be teaching the class and it angers me. Oh well, everyone gets a bad prof or a bad class from time to time. I won't have to deal with it next semester. Thank god.
In four days I will be back in Seattle. Seattle. Seattle. Seattle.
