Wow. I've been bad about updating, haven't I? I went to Florida for Thanksgiving to spend time with my wonderful family down there. Yes, I am talking about you, Laurel Pie.
Now, I'm back at home, and I have to go to a three day work conference starting tomorrow. Even though I'm scheduled to stay at a hotel, I'm going to go stay with Don. I haven't seen him in forever, and I really don't care to share a hotel room with someone that I really don't know.
Saturday I'm going to go to Hagerstown to have lunch with a friend who actually lives up near Lancaster, and we decided Hagerstown is the closest to half way between us.
I am getting a new washer and dryer delivered next Wednesday. At least they are new to me. I couldn't find brand new ones in the price range that I wanted to spend. But, there's a local place here that sells used. The machines I'm getting are only 1 or 2 years old. The dryer is actually nicer than the new model they have out on the show room floor because it has "wrinkle care."
And then I'm going to be really financially irresponsible and get a laptop and a flat tv. I realized that part of the reason I was feeling twitchy about going to Richmond is because I would be computerless. Even with my tablet, I was having serious withdrawal while I was in Florida, and to have to go three more days so soon - yeah not an option. And the flat tv - well, Best Buy is just having a really good sale on them. Plus, Spawn and Pretty Girl are going to be moving back in soon, so I need a tv in my room.
