The horrible realization my parents were right.

I've made it through 2 of 3 final projects. My 2 point room was applauded (*squee*), and yes, my spiral staircase was correct, a first for my instructor. I sound like I'm bragging, and I kind of am, but these accomplishments are huge for me. Not only can I draw, and fairly well (as my father told me my whole life), but by applying myself, I've got and A in Color Theory, and a high B in Drawing and Perspective (as my parents told me I was capable of my whole life). I'm an academic situation where I can't just get by on natural ability and good memory. I have to work for my grades, and I'm motivated to do so. A photo of the finished drawing included below.

Right now, I'm working on my Critical Thinking final project, a reinvention of the shopping cart. My idea is to get rid of the current incarnation of the shopping cart we know and love to hate, and create a system of automated grocery shopping, leaving only the need for mini carts and baskets. I have quite a bit to do, but it isn't due 'til tomorrow night, and I think I should be able to create a pretty good presentation. I also have a student identification sheet, and a space shuttle crash situation worksheet, in which we have to decide which 5 items that survived the crash we should leave behind. Neither of those should take too long.

Off to shower, and begin my last night of homework for the quarter!
