omigod, omigod you guys
I cannot wait for the Olympics! It feels like it's been way more than four years since the last summer outing. I am so looking forward to seeing this boy on my tv again :D
59 Days!!
In other news...our house is being attacked by giant ants. I have seen four in the kitchen/family room in just as many days. And I'm talking HUGE! It's disgusting. I hate bugs. I'm terrified of them. Every time I walk into a room now the first thing I do is a bug check. I'm gonna start bugging my dad to try and take care of this, cause ick.
And I started watching that Legally Blonde: The Musical - The Search for the Next Elle Woods or whatever that crazy long ass title is, on MTV, and it's really not a great show. Pretty boring for a reality competition. But it made me curious about the actual musical so I started watching clips of it on YouTube and now I have that obnoxious (but kind of charming) "Omigod You Guys" song in my head.
Finally, in other reality news. Nashville Star premiered today. I haven't watched that show in a few seasons, but it moved to NBC so I thought I'd give it another shot, plus my mom and sister are watching it as well. They're allowing duos and trios now which I like. My favorite out of the Top 12 is actually a duo, Laura and Sophie. They are best friends, one is 16 and one is 18 and their harmonies are gorgeous; plus they're adorable and seem really down to earth. I think the most likable thing about them is that they look and act their age instead of all those teenage girls these days who think they're 24. I couldn't find any videos of them from the show yet, but here they are singing "Leave the Pieces" by The Wreckers.
There is also some eye candy this season. His name is Justin, he's 19 (so young!) and he's a model. Unfortunately what I've heard so far from him vocally is not great, but hopefully they'll keep him around a little while so I can look at him cause he is pretty.
Who knows, maybe it was just a bad night and he can actually sing. Here's hoping. No matter what though, I'm rooting for the girls (I know! Me rooting for females, especially over a hot male? Blame David Cook, cause I don't need anyone else :P )
