First, I would like to congratulate all the seniors I am friends with for a spectacular college career. Good luck in whatever you do, and I am sure glad that I had the opportunity to learn from you all and grow as a person as a result of our friendships.
Secondly, I would like to say - I can't wait for this year to be over!!! I want summer to be here, I want to hang out with the girls, and I want to just be a kid for one last summer. A kid that will finally be allowed to go out to the bar, but nevertheless a kid :)
Third - I guess its time to update y'all on what is going on in my life. Well, besides being absolutely swamped with homework and papers, I have found some time to party and live it up. Though it seems from how I think my grades are shaping up, I should have spent more time working on things than drinking my life away. Hopefully I'll find the balance next year, since I haven't been able to attain it so far in my college career.
As far as the miniscule details of my life go - There's still all kinds of love/hate going back and forth with evan and I, of course. Caf crush still wants to be friends, but I am disgusted and really don't want anything to do with someone so homophobic and violent when he's drunk. Sorry, been there done that sweet thang. But - I did manage to meet a guy who might actually be decent and comes with a family recommendation.
My future roomie, Ashleigh, has a cousin named Aaron... And he loves me :) Hahaha, actually, he just thinks I am cute and spunky. We talked on the phone for the first time tonight, and the convo lasted about 40 minutes. He had to go so he could work out at the gym before they close. He said he'd probably call me from Chicago this weekend drunk... which I encouraged, but he told me not to answer my phone. What's the fun in that?? So I told him if he didn't call me drunk, I would call him (albeit sober cuz I have boatloads of stuff to do). We got to talking about Chicago and I said I loved the city. He offered to take me there one weekend :) Did I mention my new flame is LOADED? He works as an engineering consultant, so he pulls down the big bucks. He is living at home with his parents right now to save some money so he can move to Chicago and buy like a $500,000 house. Did I mention he's 24? Cuz he is. He'll be 25 in October. He doesn't want to date me until I turn 21 though, cuz 20 just sounds too young to him... haha, cuz 12 days makes any bit of difference. Whatever helps him sleep better at night though. Its kind of fun because I'm really comfortable with him, and we have a ton of inside jokes already. (We've only actually conversed twice.)
Its weird that he is so much older and has a job and stuff, but a lot of our friends are getting engaged and married soon. I told T she was aging me by getting married... And now Caleb is engaged (not like we're super good friends or anything, but I know him, and its just weird for me to think about) and Emily is getting engaged within the next year... At least I am enjoying my time nowadays meeting people and hanging out and stuff. I have really made some awesome friends who I know I'll have the rest of my life... so that's exciting. And for once I'm not in a rush to be in a relationship. And I'm not looking back anymore, which is also a good change.
But I have to get up for class, so I guess I'll be going to bed :(
