Love365: Enchanted in the Moonlight: Kyoga
Another Love 365 dating sim path. This is very silly dubcon trash, but I was feeling stupid today and it was free and I ate it up like popcorn.
MC is living a normal life as a librarian until a bunch of mythological creatures arrive saying they'll gain MAGICAL POWERS if she HAS THEIR BABIES.
The free LI is the wolf spirit Kyoga, who is the sort of "mature slacker" type of love interest that shows up in a few Voltage games: shoulder length wavy hair, little beard, laid-back personality, a little skeezy. Except this game's default level of skeezy is super high, and he also does wolfy stuff like sniffing her neck a lot.
I glossed over half the creepy stuff in my summary but: CONSENT ISSUES AHOY.
That said, it was sorta hot in a dubconny way, and to the extent I was able to roll with the ridiculous dubconland logic it was...actually sort of cute?
Even though this is also from Voltage, I suspect these ayakashi (mythological creatures) will be less to my tastes than the recent Samurai Love Ballad Party ayakashi AU, but we'll see.

Oh god this dialogue has the subtlety of a brick. MC meets a pretty man with cold hands and literally says "Wow I got distracted by how beautiful you are. Wait...did you make that snowball?"
I am pretty sure it's a bad idea to take a WILD FOX into the bath with you even if you DON'T know it's actually a skeezy fox spirit.
"I forgot. I'm naked right now!!!"
Maybe "It's not magic, it's sorcery" makes more sense in Japanese.

Turns out Kyoga barely beat the hotheaded Aoi for clan head.
Kyoga: I'm sure if I negotiate with the tiger clan we can come to an understanding.
Aoi: WE MUST KILL THE BARBARIANS.
Kyoga: Anyway, MC, time to go back to our love nest ;)
MC: (he's just joking. He doesn't love me, I'm just useful to his clan...)

MC finds out that Aoi and Kyoga used to be childhood friends and wishes they could work things out.

He brought peace, but by always smiling and putting others first, repressing his true feelings.
MC asks what she can do to help his clan, and Kyoga is touched, but then gets all "there is one thing only you can do ;D"
MC seriously considers it, but it still feels wrong.
Aoi gets dubconny and coerces her into agreeing to be with him if he defeats the tiger clan/tora. MC thinks wistfully about how much nicer Kyoga is about being dubconny which...I guess...comparatively...

As one is about to bite her and replace Kyoga's mark with his own, MC finally cries out his name for help.
Kyoga shows up with Aoi, who seems genuinely concerned for MC's welfare!
Kyoga fights the tora with a wolverine claw gauntlet and magical flames!
Just as Kyoga is about to take MC's hand, Aoi is all "No, choose me, I actually care about you! He just cares about his clan!" so she takes his hand like a a DUMBASS.
But somehow MC ends up in Kyoga's arms with the two of them smiling at each other affectionately while Aoi rants about how they missed their chance to murder the whole tiger clan.
MC makes Kyoga tell Aoi that he's in the middle of peace negotiations.
Aoi: You told her before me? >:(
Sorry, Aoi, he loves her more than you.
Aoi wants to take MC back to the village, to keep her and the villagers safe with her power. Kyoga agrees that leaving would be the best way to stop any humans getting caught up in a fight, and asks MC what she wants.
She looks at Kyoga, and decides that it doesn't matter how he feels about her. She's going to let him use her power. (MC's "power" being the ability to give power to men through sex and babies is sure...something.)
But before she can say anything...a bunch of tora appear! Including the Tora Clan Head!
Tora head: Kyoga, you made a bunch of slick promises then hurt our young men >:(
Aoi: THEY STARTED IT >:(
Kyoga: I still hope for a peaceful resolution. They attacked her, it was self defence.
Other Tora: Well, maybe...but that Aoi was on our land!
MC: I swear, Kyoga really wants peace :(
Tora head: Such power...new plan. We leave you alone in exchange for her.
...and then the game SKIPPED KYOGA'S REPLY, and my choices are "Fine with me", "nod" and "You should do what you want". The walkthrough says to pick the last.
Kyoga: ...don't leave me, MC.
And then he turns to the Tora head and says that as in their original negotiation, he's not asking the tora for anything and isn't planning on giving them anything either. Including MC.
Tora head: Then you leave me no choice. ATTACK!!
Once again Kyoga non-lethally incapacitates the tora, and holds Aoi back from killing them.
Kyoga: Don't you remember all the violence when we were kids?
Aoi: Yes! I learned it's kill or be killed!
Tora head, grabbing MC: GUESS I'LL BE EATING YOU, THEN.
But then Kyoga jumps between them, taking the blow. He's badly injured, and things look dark but then...the other ayakashi show up! HOORAY FOR INTERSPECIES COOPERATION!
Aoi wants to protect her all by himself, because he is a WOLF NATIONALIST JERK, but is ignored.
Defeated tora: What are you...monsters?
Miytaki: We're beautiful ayakashi.
Shinra: We are pretty close to monsters...
Miyaki: The difference lies in our beauty!
MC runs to Kyoga and hugs him. Aoia awkwardly apologises for starting all this, and he and Kyoga bicker shippily.
Tora head: Very well...finish it. You own us now.
Kyoga: I wasn't fighting you for control. I was protecting someone important to me.
And then...Kyoga collapses from bloodloss!
Yuki: He was pretending to be fine, but was actually dying D:

Aoi: You beat me at everything...I'm going back to the village to protect the clan.

Kyoga: I brought you all here today to discuss the future of our clans.

Kyoga explains the concept of PEACEFUL COEXISTENCE and ENDING THE CYCLE OF VIOLENCE in words of two syllables until even Aoi and the tora accept.
At the celebratory banquet the okami express their joy at MC by plying her with their local alcohol, but Kyoga notices and tries to make sure she doesn't get too drunk.
Afterwards she enjoys looking around his house, and he thanks her for making his people so happy.
MC: It's you. You worked hard to bring them peace, and they love you.
They start making out, and it fades to black...
The next morning she wakes in bed next to a naked Kyoga.
MC: Uh, did we...
Kyoga: Nope, you were too drunk and fell asleep haha.

Apparently nothing says "I'm sorry for nearly raping you" like sniffing a girl's neck while she shouts for you to stop...
Yukinojo helps MC with the dishes and asks how she feels about things with Kyoga, which would be sweeter if it wasn't for him having previously seemed fine with the idea of Kyoga raping her.
MC says she never knows what Kyoga's thinking. Yukinojo says Kyoga and Aoi were both raised as potential clan heads, but since Kyoga had no ambition everyone assumed it would be Aoi. But there was an awful clan civil war over whether the okami should work with humans, and Kyoga decided he would become clan head to stop such violence ever happening again. He brought peace, but by always smiling and putting others first, repressing his true feelings.
MC asks what she can do to help his clan, and Kyoga is touched, but then gets all "there is one thing only you can do ;D"
MC seriously considers it, but it still feels wrong.
Aoi gets dubconny and coerces her into agreeing to be with him if he defeats the tiger clan/tora. MC thinks wistfully about how much nicer Kyoga is about being dubconny which...I guess...comparatively...
MC: You'd kiss me against my will??
Aoi: Of course! I want your power!
Kyoga rescues her, and MC realises she doesn't just want his protection, she likes him.
Bluuuh he gets quietly pissy because MC let herself get coerced. "I'm too busy to watch you kids play the game of love" COME ON DUDE.
GOD THIS IS ALL SO DUMB
BLUH BLUH 'LOVE TRIANGLE' DRAMA. I mean MC is 100% on the Kyoga train, but Aoi and Kyoga think they're in a love triangle and their self pity is interminable.
Man, dubconland logic is sure... something. Aoi says Kyoga clearly isn't interested in MC because they have no sexual chemistry??
MC: Yeah, he just jokes around, sniffing me...except for that one time...but that was just the full moon... :(

Ok that's pretty cute. He says he negotiated peace with the tora, too!
...and then gets pretty dubconny, but it's that kind of game.
Aw, Aoi quit :D
Oh, but he left a note saying he intends to defeat the tora.
Instead of calling Kyoga's name, which he's told her will bring him to her, MC just runs off from work and does her best to navigate by herself to the hidden magical forest village to stop Aoi by herself.
WEIRDLY ENOUGH THIS DOES NOT END WELL.
She finds herself surrounded by tora, whose creepiness combines uncomfortably with their cute lil fuzzy tiger ears. They laugh about the power they'd get from having sex with her, but she forces herself to keep calm and says she wants to negotiate with their clan head.
MC: If I give you my power, will you promise not to invade the okami?
Tora: How presumptuous! We'll attack until it's ours!
As one is about to bite her and replace Kyoga's mark with his own, MC finally cries out his name for help.
Kyoga shows up with Aoi, who seems genuinely concerned for MC's welfare!
Kyoga fights the tora with a wolverine claw gauntlet and magical flames!
Just as Kyoga is about to take MC's hand, Aoi is all "No, choose me, I actually care about you! He just cares about his clan!" so she takes his hand like a a DUMBASS.
But somehow MC ends up in Kyoga's arms with the two of them smiling at each other affectionately while Aoi rants about how they missed their chance to murder the whole tiger clan.
MC makes Kyoga tell Aoi that he's in the middle of peace negotiations.
Aoi: You told her before me? >:(
Sorry, Aoi, he loves her more than you.
Aoi wants to take MC back to the village, to keep her and the villagers safe with her power. Kyoga agrees that leaving would be the best way to stop any humans getting caught up in a fight, and asks MC what she wants.
She looks at Kyoga, and decides that it doesn't matter how he feels about her. She's going to let him use her power. (MC's "power" being the ability to give power to men through sex and babies is sure...something.)
But before she can say anything...a bunch of tora appear! Including the Tora Clan Head!
Tora head: Kyoga, you made a bunch of slick promises then hurt our young men >:(
Aoi: THEY STARTED IT >:(
Kyoga: I still hope for a peaceful resolution. They attacked her, it was self defence.
Other Tora: Well, maybe...but that Aoi was on our land!
MC: I swear, Kyoga really wants peace :(
Tora head: Such power...new plan. We leave you alone in exchange for her.
...and then the game SKIPPED KYOGA'S REPLY, and my choices are "Fine with me", "nod" and "You should do what you want". The walkthrough says to pick the last.
Kyoga: ...don't leave me, MC.
And then he turns to the Tora head and says that as in their original negotiation, he's not asking the tora for anything and isn't planning on giving them anything either. Including MC.
Tora head: Then you leave me no choice. ATTACK!!
Once again Kyoga non-lethally incapacitates the tora, and holds Aoi back from killing them.
Kyoga: Don't you remember all the violence when we were kids?
Aoi: Yes! I learned it's kill or be killed!
Tora head, grabbing MC: GUESS I'LL BE EATING YOU, THEN.
But then Kyoga jumps between them, taking the blow. He's badly injured, and things look dark but then...the other ayakashi show up! HOORAY FOR INTERSPECIES COOPERATION!
Aoi wants to protect her all by himself, because he is a WOLF NATIONALIST JERK, but is ignored.
Defeated tora: What are you...monsters?
Miytaki: We're beautiful ayakashi.
Shinra: We are pretty close to monsters...
Miyaki: The difference lies in our beauty!
MC runs to Kyoga and hugs him. Aoia awkwardly apologises for starting all this, and he and Kyoga bicker shippily.
Tora head: Very well...finish it. You own us now.
Kyoga: I wasn't fighting you for control. I was protecting someone important to me.
And then...Kyoga collapses from bloodloss!
Yuki: He was pretending to be fine, but was actually dying D:
Kyoga: *cough* ...stop...exaggerating...*flop*
MC bandages him up.
Kyoga: I'd be all better if you kissed me.
MC: Stop playing around.
Since MC has apparently not been paying any attention to the (admittedly ridiculous) worldbuilding, he just kisses her, and she is very into it, even with everyone watching.
MC: Oh, he's better!
Chikage: Yes? Why do you think...everyone has been chasing you...
MC: Anyway, I'm sorry I ruined your negotiation.
Kyoga: It wasn't your fault. And you're important to me, of course I'd protect you.
MC: When you say important...what exactly do you mean?
Kyoga: I'm thinking...this must be that thing they call love :)
She throws herself into his arms, but is still a bit dubious, and he explains that ever since the civil war over how to relate to humans, he has felt threatened by humans?? That...was not...clear...
Anyway. Even though he tried to deny his feelings, he slowly went from just wanting her power to genuinely caring.
Kyoga: I'm an ayakashi, you're not. But...stay with me. I'll protect you, just like you protected me.
MC: :D
Aoi: You beat me at everything...I'm going back to the village to protect the clan.
Kyoga: Good. As head I'm busy all over the place, I want you to set down roots in the village and protect it. And MC...I'll introduce you to them all again. As my girl :)
Kyoga gathers the heads of the tora and okami clans.
Kyoga: I brought you all here today to discuss the future of our clans.
Aoia: What's to discuss? We won, they're our subjects :D
Elder: Here we go again. They'll be resentful and we'll hold a grudge...
Kyoga explains the concept of PEACEFUL COEXISTENCE and ENDING THE CYCLE OF VIOLENCE in words of two syllables until even Aoi and the tora accept.
At the celebratory banquet the okami express their joy at MC by plying her with their local alcohol, but Kyoga notices and tries to make sure she doesn't get too drunk.
Afterwards she enjoys looking around his house, and he thanks her for making his people so happy.
MC: It's you. You worked hard to bring them peace, and they love you.
They start making out, and it fades to black...
The next morning she wakes in bed next to a naked Kyoga.
MC: Uh, did we...
Kyoga: Nope, you were too drunk and fell asleep haha.
MC: I AM SO SORRY.
Kyoga: The way you apologise like that is so cute. Just don't drink so much next time ;)
She happily snuggles up to him.

That's the super happy ending, I can't bring myself to play the other ending in case they chose to make it dubconnier. I'm at about my limit for the day.
...I can't believe Aoi was SINCERE the WHOLE TIME. Sorry MC, I guess you understand the rules of DUMBASS DUBCONLAND better than me after all.
