so i'm here up in nor cal for new years watching some tv with a friend. it has been a very nice trip with only minor annoyances. I've done a lot and that makes me happy. We drove up on the night of the 29th and got in about 2:30am on the 30th. We had breakfast at Sconehenge in berkeley and the company we had was fun but the food was disappointing. I realized that I need meat in my breakfast burrito, but the hashbrowns were quite delicious. I'll try not to go to in detail but i'll write out the highlights so that i'll remember it. i have the worst memory...
quotes:
elfs, i'm beautiful, i don't need you anymore, fun is from within, poo poo, don't look at my cousin, hmm...too many more to write.
events:
san francisco in the day- exploritorium (geeky but fun. i really wanted to play with the bubbles but there were too many kids in the way. drank from a toilet...the pic on facebook might explain) and chinatown (food just like i love it), new years eve pre-party at kelly's house (free food and fun ppl), san fran for amaaaaazing fireworks! got to ride the bart again with some fun "shaboo yahs", santa rosa to see family and friends, here we went to safari west cuz carol, a friend works there, we got a vip tour which included the girrafe barn. We got to pet, feed and be face-to-face with girrafes it was awesome, we saw a lot of various african birds and got to see 2 beautiful cheetahs, after my aunt, grandma and etc feed us arroz con pollo (umm...=)..). Oh we watched Munich, which was great but it was a little dragged out...hung out with my cousin more and then went to carols to sleep. Got up relatively early and went to my aunts for breakfast. Said buy to my mom and grandma who were driving down to so cal that day hung out some more with my cuz and then took a much needed nap and advil for the cramps. Then I went to a Jewish party!! and had latkas...which i had never had nor heard of before this trip. Apparently, everyone in nor cal knows about latkas. and now I sit here watching oprah (must read book called "A Million Pieces") and slowly write this entry.
we stayed at about 4 ppls houses- special thanks to kelly, lotta, murray, and carol.
