Big Day Out '03
Well, comrades, I would not be lying if I said I had a most fantastic day yesterday. Or hsould I say, Nurse Edna had a most fantastic day.
It all started with me wandering around the city at 10 past 7 in the morning, in my nurses uniform, fuck me boots and pigtails. I went into the 7/11, and the guy I know there, Luke, said "Um… So… Are you going to work today?" And I was just like 'WHAT THE FUCK DO YOU THINK I WORK AS?!" Hehe… Was good. Then Hayley, who I was going to meet in Kind George Square said she'd be late, so I went to Roma Street train station where my bus was leaving from, and told Kayley to meet me there. I met up with Travis who was being Dr. Scratchit for the day (I was his nurse) and Rooster. Prue, Shannon and Dani arrove soon after.
Hehe. Rooster had a Frenzal Rhomb shirt that he made himself on, Prue was in tartan and Shannon was in a 'The Australian Ballet' shirt and a tutu. Hehe. He ended up making out with Prue the entire day. >(
Then the big one came, William, who had the most fantastic costume of the day, he was dressed as the Joker. He looked absolutly fantastic, just like the real thing it was great. Hayley came and we got on the bus and were on our way. When we got there I was sitting on the hill with this sexy looking boi that I introduced myself too, and was watching the Channel V screen, when a message flashed across it 'I LOVE U NURSE EDNA' Hehe. I was so happy. ;__; Nurse Edna became very famous during the day. There were other Nurses there, that I spent the day Death Staring. Mwahaha!
My first trip to the mosh pit was to see Frenzal Rhomb, and for how early it was in the day, they absolutly went off. IT was fucking crazy, and I was still straight and sober. I went back, caught my Prue making with Shannon and got all pissed off, so went off to meet up with my Channon and we went and got something to drink. I then went back into the pit to see 28 Days, but they weren't that good. Kind of bleh, I think I was depressed.
So I went on a few rides before going and having to put myself through JEBEDIAH!! EWW!! Just so I could getfront row for MACHINE GUN FELLATIO!! MY BABIES!! They were FUCKING FANTASTIC. I would have paid the entire $100 just to see them. KK Juggy got naked and was doing cartwheels all over the stage, she sung 'Let Me Be Your Dirty Fucking Whore'… Sigh… And then Chit Chat was dancing around the stage naked except for this poo bear doll he had attached to his cock. Then… The next bit is a bit fuzzy, I took some E and was sitting down while watching… Something.. I think it was The Waifs when Pinky Beecroft (Lead singer of Machine Gun Fellatio) walked past! I was so excited. I ended up making out with him, walking around with him for a while (holding hands) and then sharing a bowl with him. Twas good. Then he met up with some blonde chic and they went offthe have sex. Sighhhhh… I was sooooo happy.
Then I sat around for a bit longer, and went to mosh for Queens of the Stone Age. They absolutly went off! It was great! I got groped sooo many times though. Yargh. My ass is completely dead today. The mosh went way past the D-barrier they were so big, and then I went of and got fucking front row for PJ HARVEY!!! SHE WAS SO SEXY!! I could not believe it! And then the guys from Queens were sitting in front of the barrier in front of me having a fight with this sparkley shit.
I was with Channon during The Living End when the chic from Waikiki was standing next to me, and pretending I didn't know who she was I turned to Channon, he didn't recognise her, and started saying shit like 'Ugh. You know the band that was first up today? Waikiki? Didn't they suck dogs balls?" She turned and gave me a really dirty look so I went on 'And that lead singer chic, did you see her massive glasses? What did she think she was? The human fly?!' Hehehe… And she just stormed off. IT made me feel a lot better. I then went and was TWO PEOPLE BEHIND JONATHAN!! (ICK!) for Jane's Addiction. They were so good, but the effects of everything was getting to me so I ended up passing out, and Channon had to carry me out. He's so sweet. I sat and recovered for a about half an hour before getting in there for Foo Fighters, they were pretty damn good to my surprise.
And somewhere in all of that I was right in the centre for the Murderdolls mosh. That was absolutly fantastic. I nearly died during that. I started getting really scared, but they were great. Really really great. They sang all my favourite songs too. TWIST MY TWIST MY TWIST MY SISTER!!! And Grave Robbing USA was good too. Purr…..
And then, on the bus home some chic threw up all over me and Hayley. Blech! Was yuck.
Anyway, enough of my rant about Big Day Out… I just had the most fantastic time, the only thing is… I AM IN SOOO MUCH PAIN TODAY!! Every muscle in my body aches… owch… ;__;
