Well, I actually made a journal. Yep.
I had a pretty nice weekend. Friday-Saturday I slept over at Katrina's for her birthday. Eva, Zuzia, Jam, Hayley, Aera, and Amita were there too, though not all of them stayed over. Shaun showed up about midnight, which was nice. We're not really close, but it's great to talk to him.
I spent today shopping for...stuff. Mostly Christmas stuff. Katrina will love my present. In fact, she'll probably hug me and end up strangling me to death. Ah well.
I didn't see Jordi, cause he was working. At least I'll see him tomorrow and I can GIVE HIM BACK HIS BLOODY METALLICA SWEATSHIRT!!!!! He keeps saying there's no room in his bag. I love it, but I feel like I'm stealing it...
I'm glad my parents like Jordi so much, though I'm reminded of a story my dad told me about my Aunt Margeret. Apparently, her and my dad's parents hated all the guys she dated. One day, she brought home this guy who was well dressed, friendly, short hair, polite, for once a guy they liked. Then, later, went down to the basement where my dad, at the time a kid of probably about 10, takes out a loaded rifle and shows him how to use it. "Can I shoot it!?" "No, not in the house."
Doesn't surprise me. I can imagine my grandparents getting things like that wrong, plus I know the whole right-wing polite but stupid type.
