Just Random Photos From Moscow

Nov 18, 2014 06:51

I spent a lot of time in the middle of Moscow, most expensive and beautiful place of Russia. By my way I was takin’ some photos when I was there, and here they are.

Cathedral of Christ the Saviour.

A view from the bridge beside it.

Bol’shaya Dmitrovka street. I liked to walk there or, sometimes, just sit on a bench and read some book.

The same street.

“Bol’shoy Teatr” (Big Theater), the biggest (what an irony!) theater in Moscow.

And the fountain beside it.

Marshall Zhukov’s memorial placed beside Red Square. This guy was a military man, that’s all I know ’bout him.

The Kremlin’s embankment.

Moscow Manege.

St. Basil's Cathedral.

GUM (department store.) The huge and beautiful building. Moscow’s lacking historical buildings, like this one.

State Historical Museum.

Cosplayers of Lenin and Stalin. Yeah, totally Russian style, huh... :)

My average snack in coffee house Nadin beside the subway station Teatralnaya.

Old Arbat. Popular tourist place.

Memorial of Pushkin and Natalya Goncharova. I suppose this chick is his wife or girlfriend.

The building of Department of Foreign Affairs. Nice architectural model of monumental soviet high-rise buildings.

Opening ceremony of memorial of Stanislavski and Nemirovich-Danchenko on Kamergerskiy side street.

Just random memorial.

And random tree.

The building of First TV channel- hotbed of lying government propaganda.
