A/N: This is a quick drabble. It's based off my experience and may also be an opener for my future ongoing once I finish WIB, INE. And since it'll be based off experience, I have more of an insight of how to go about the fic instead having to whip up dippidy-doo-da sexy action scenes to perhaps entice my readers. Oh man, If you remember "A Love I Never Knew" This would be like a parallel fic, no connections, but they follow the same path. lol though, guys. Better watch out, teen writing about a love life here.
"You've been avoiding me." Tiffany sipped from the coffee mug in front of her. She ordered something warm and sweet, the flavor tingling her taste buds deliciously.
"I hope you're not expecting an apology." Jessica held her own hot mug in front of her, but instead of something sweet, somewhere along the line she found herself desiring the more bitter taste of black coffee.
"There you go trying to act all cool and collected again." Tiffany smirked expectantly at Jessica, as if they were still playing a game.
"How else do you expect me to react? Happy? Maybe sad?" Jessica lightly tapped against her cup. "Where's your boyfriend by the way? He out doing your bidding again? Maybe worshiping frames of you at home?" Jessica laughed bitterly.
"At least they can show their affection." The black-haired beauty grimaced.
"Now I'm not good enough for you, hm?" Jessica raised an arrogant brow.
Tiffany scoffed, "Are you kidding me?"
"I wish I was."
Tiffany snapped, "Why won't you just admit you like me and ask me out?!"
The coffee was suddenly forgotten.
"Tell me why I should be asking taken women out in the first place" Jessica spoke through gritted teeth.
Tiffany sat back. In all honesty, she uses the men to lure out Jessica's feelings, but it seems her efforts are doomed to be futile.
"You say you like me; you want me to ask you out, you want me to touch you, and then you go and get yourself these random men who come out of nowhere? It makes me think, you know, even if I ask you out, will you still continue looking for men?" Jessica glared disgusted, but she couldn't look Tiffany in the eye.
"I'm just scared. I've been straight- but it's just you that I can't stop thinking about." It somehow made sense to Tiffany that if she admitted this to Jessica, Jessica would continue loving her like she had always done and not ask for more as to not hurt Tiffany. It was never like her to think that far ahead anyway. It was only the present that mattered, and right now she just wanted Jessica's affection.
"Are you stu- you're straight? Who are you trying to convince, me or yourself?" Jessica stood up then. They were in a café, but like every other meeting they had had, they always forgot there were people around.
"My feelings aren't for you to just use up until you find your magic man. Because I know what I want, and this isn't it." Jessica dropped a few bills to cover both cups of coffee and tip before departing.
Tiffany would have run after her if her pride as a woman didn't strap her down to the seat. It was always them chasing her, they were supposed to see only her, so why was Jessica walking away?
She allowed Jessica her love, more so than the men she claimed to care for. She always made Jessica her number one priority. Her eyes were only on Jessica, her lovely Jessica.
Her phone suddenly vibrated, Taecyeon’s name flashing as if mocking her.
She didn't have a specific picture for his caller ID, but she can recall Jessica's vividly. It was a picture of her smiling at her phone when Tiffany sent her a meaningful text despite the fact they were right in front of each other.
Tiffany clicked through her phone until she came across the same picture and stared at it; that's what Jessica looked like when she thought of Tiffany. So without a doubt, Tiffany sat there waiting.
She would wait for Jessica to return because she knows the girl loves her. Even if she ran away from Jessica, Jessica would chase after her. Jessica would do anything for her, so surely she'd return. There was no doubt.
That was over a year ago.
