A/N: I write too much smut. This one is pure romance. Thank you Miss Mae for Engrish lessons and Hyung for your French lessons. -.- I'm such a kid compared to them and every other sone out there. I hope this satisfies that bottom of wanted romance in your guys' single lives. 'Cause it takes up part of mine for me... /foreverasone
School has gotten better by the way. I made some friends... I dunno if that's good or not though. I kinda prefer being by myself, and writing. Livin' that teenage dream. Aight, I'll just go blog the rest on my Tumblr.

The enemy’s daughter…

As if I’ve ever cared for our family’s political competitions.

Why would she spend time with me though? Did she really love me?
She put down the book she was reading as she stared out to space.

“Hey Sica!” A small girl came rushing towards her from across the grassy field she was in.

The girl finally reached her stable figure leaning against a boulder that had been conveniently placed next to a tree for shade.

“Yes Taeyeon?” Taeyeon was out of breath as she tried recollecting herself and speaking to Jessica.

“I saw what happened at the party!” She shouted as if Jessica weren’t five inches away.

“So?” She never knew he cousin was a gossiper.

“Well!” Taeyeon looked at her expectantly.

“She died.” Jessica spoke with that same void voice and looked back to her book.

“Stop it! Tell me what happened!” Taeyeon looked at her desperately.

“I did. Believe what you want.” Jessica wasn’t even reading the lines in her book as she already saw Taeyeon sitting down beside her.

“She’s as beautiful as they say, huh!?” Taeyeon grinned to the sky as she spoke to the rock that was Jessica.

“I don’t know, I couldn’t see behind her ego.” Jessica recalled Tiffany’s egoistic proposal.

“What?! Stop that! Everyone knows she’s a saint!” Taeyeon knocked Jessica’s head before turning back to the grassy field.

“Then why don’t YOU court her?” Jessica was getting irritated at how loud and boisterous Taeyeon was being.

“Because unlike YOU, I can’t get behind her smiles.” Taeyeon seemed disappointed.

“You talk to her?” Jessica looked at her strangely.

“Everyone talks to her, she’s very friendly.” Taeyeon spoke without looking at her.

“Since when?” She was curious as the girl was hardly familiar to her.

“Ever since we started having to go to these balls.” Taeyeon raised a curious eye brow at her.

“Then why haven’t I ever seen her?” Jessica looked at her skeptically as if Taeyeon were lying, but Taeyeon’s expression told her otherwise as her mouth was gaping, inviting flies.

“Is this another one of your bad jokes?” Taeyeon eyes her suspiciously.

“You know what my jokes sound like, this isn’t one.” Jessica watched her with a bored expression.

“Well… What’d she say to you?” Taeyeon wanted details.

“She introduced herself only after the first dance, which was rude by the way. Then she continued to embarrass me with her obnoxious asthma attacks and after that had the nerve to propose to me offering me a big giant diamond ring to stick up her large egoistic ass.”

Jessica spoke with too much enthusiasm in her voice.

“You’re lying and you enjoyed it, that’s all I caught from you.” Taeyeon looked at her with a smirk.

“You know, she also had special visual needs, if you get what I mean.” And without having to say anything positive, Taeyeon understood what she was saying as a smile spread across her face.

“So she got your sense of humor? And I thought you were the only on of your species.” Taeyeon gave her a smug look as she watched Jessica’s facial expressions.

“I guess she got it, but she still didn’t pass inspection.” Her semblance remained stoic, but she dazed, which didn’t surpass Taeyeon’s keen eyes.

“And you said she was egoistic.” Taeyeon scoffed.

“She was.” Jessica brought herself back down to earth as she glared to nothing in particular.

“You enjoyed her company; don’t think I didn’t miss you skipping over your departure.”

“Yes, it was quite romantic how she couldn’t afford another dance.”

Taeyeon looked at her quizzically.
“You charged her?”

“Yes, like I would every patron if it wouldn’t ruin my father’s reputation.”
Jessica was beginning to daze back again.

“And how much did you charge her?” Taeyeon glared at Jessica, anticipating the answer.

“Five bucks. She must be poor.” Jessica jested again as she never failed to humor herself.

Taeyeon deadpanned as she watched Jessica with unimpressed eyes.
“People kill for her, why are you being like this?”

Jessica raised her brows in a bored manner.

“You act as if I don’t have my own line of men.”

“Yes, but at least she has the audacity to decline them.”

Jessica’s eye twitched as she turned to Taeyeon.

“You think I want to dance with any of them?”

Taeyeon opposed her as she set up the challenge.

“You’re so busy dancing with them you never even once noticed her watching you.”

Jessica wasn’t necessarily surprised that Tiffany’s been watching her since she had known her name without needing an introduction.

“You act as if she’s supposed to be something special to me.”

Taeyeon met Jessica’s pride as she smacked the top of her head.

“Ow!” Jessica glared at her and punched her in the shoulder.

Taeyeon glared back at her like she was about to pounce when her phone started ringing.

She broke eye contact first as Jessica held her superior air.

“Hello? -Oh! Fany-ah! Yes, she’s right beside me. Do you want to talk to her? No? Okay.”

Jessica’s self-esteem faltered as she felt offended Tiffany didn’t want to speak to her.

“She doesn’t have a phone.”

Jessica’s feelings made a u-turn as her head grew, thinking Tiffany wanted her number.

“Yeah, yeah, I’ll tell Krystal.”

Her head shrunk back to size as she realized Krystal didn’t have a phone either.

“’Kay, see you in a bit, bye.” Taeyeon hung up with a devious smile splaying on her lips, but she hid it from Jessica before turning back to her.

“So… Fany’s gonna be here in a bit.” Taeyeon grinned at Jessica as she watched her face twitch.

Jessica wanted to hold in her grin, but it looked like she was having a miniature seizure.

“Uh, Jess, are you okay?” Taeyeon looked at her weirdly as Jessica could only twitch.

“How is she allowed even remotely close to my house?” Jessica’s twitching died down as she averted her attention.

Taeyeon shrugged.
“We’re like a mile away from the manor.”

Jessica squinted at her.
“How does she know where to go?”

Taeyeon smile nervously at her.
“I- I dunno Sica, why don’t you ask her when she gets here?”

Jessica’s glare only grew more menacing as she put her book down.
“Why do you have each other’s numbers?”

Taeyeon scooted back, wanting to get out of her reach.
“Phone book!”

Jessica leaned forward, “Why do you call her informally?”
She grasped Taeyeon’s collar, pulling her forward.

“E-Everyone has a codename!” Taeyeon broke into a cold sweat, anticipating Jessica’s cheek pinches.

And as expected Jessica released Taeyeon’s collar only to shove her forward on her stomach, snatch at her face, and pinch the life out of her cheeks. Taeyeon struggled to get out of her hold only to have her squeeze harder.

“Stop it! It hurrrts!!” Taeyeon was pinned down as Jessica held the shorter girls body between her legs in a tight hold.

“NO! Stop lying! Tell me everything you told her!” She tightened her hold on Taeyeon as the girl tried wriggling out of her death hold.

“Okay! Okay! GALBBUBB! LEUT GUH!” Jessica released her reddened tortured cheeks.

“Hurry up before I continue!” Jessica threatened.

“I just told her the basics! That you don’t like people! You hate cucumbers! You have a dark sense of humor, like reading, sleeping, and anything that doesn’t need effort! That you’re even too lazy to laugh unless it’s actually funny!” Taeyeon was gasping for air.

“That’s it! We’re friends! Now get off! I can’t breathe!” Taeyeon was having problems getting air in her lungs the longer Jessica sat atop her.

“Fine.” Jessica got off and grabbed her book.

“Geez, why are you so violent?!” Taeyeon was rubbing her stomach as Jessica ignored her.

“So do you like her?” Taeyeon looked at her hopeful.

Jessica just hummed.

“Is that a yes?” Taeyeon eyed her.

“No” Jessica closed her book and looked at the front cover.

“And I think it’s time to go home, I’d rather not meet her again” She stood up holding her book and patted the dust off her sundress before walking away.

Taeyeon watched her, not knowing whether to stop her or not. It’s not that she was attracted to Tiffany or the fact Jessica doesn’t like people, but she doubted both girls could make it out of their relationship alive if they created one. Their fathers were senators; their friends were fascist bitches, even their mothers were associates with their fathers’ crimes and dangers.

As Jessica got further and further away a figure sped past Taeyeon’s place on the ground and caught up to her, grabbing her hand and forcefully turning her around before claiming her lips.

The two girls in the distance were a beautiful sight to see for Taeyeon; something dangerous and also something very pure and innocent when placed in the right perspective, like her own.

But one of the girl’s broke away first, Jessica of course, even from here you could tell her face was red. Even Tiffany’s turned red after Jessica slapped it.

Taeyeon giggled at how predictable Jessica could be.

The girl’s stood there for a bit, she was wondering what they were talking about.

But Jessica looked away like she was about to cry, Tiffany grabbed her arms and pulled her forward, but Jessica broke away and ran the opposite direction towards the forest where a pond was located further in.

Tiffany followed her.

Not a single look was spared for Taeyeon as she sat beside the rock under the deserted tree. It wasn’t even a nice tree as its branches came out of one direction and the other part was burned.

Taeyeon stood up and started jogging the mile back to main streets.

The wind blew through Tiffany's hair; Jessica had already made a clear distance between them.

Tiffany was desperate; she was losing sight of Jessica quick as the girl ran through the flock of trees effortlessly.
She kept her eye on the girl’s fleeting white sundress, her creamy brown locks flowing against the pine as if it were calling her.

As hard as Tiffany tried, she lost sight of Jessica through the thick trees. She ran out into an opening where a large pond had formed, frantically looking left and right, there was no sign of the other girl.

Tiffany turned around in panic, searching the trees for her. A breeze blew through and she spotted a lucky brown lock flimsily blowing in the wind. She quickly got into an angle Jessica wouldn’t spot her in and rapidly crept forward.

Jessica peeked out from behind the tree to spy on the girl who had followed her. Not seeing her in view anymore she stepped out from behind the tree and looked around. A bit relieved she turned around to head home, but was captured as a jacket wrapped around her head.

She instantly tried escaping the confines of the cloth, but felt arms embracing her and lips finding her own. Her feet stumbled backward and they fell on the thick grass.

Tiffany’s lips had yet to leave hers as she relentlessly pushed against her. It was getting heated under the jacket forcing Tiffany to stop so they could breathe.

Jessica started pushing against Tiffany’s face to get her off, but Tiffany turned her head and grabbed her hands.

“Stop trying to push me away.” Tiffany’s breath was hitting Jessica’s face; she expected it to stink from their run but it smelled like mint.

“I hardly know you!” Jessica tried escaping Tiffany, but the girl placed both arms on either side of her head making sure she was sufficiently captured.

“What is there to know about me that you can’t find in yourself?” Tiffany’s breathing never seemed to calm down. Jessica stared into her dark brown eyes looking for anything to tell her the girl was lying.

As soon as the sincerity registered in Jessica’s mind she felt scared.

“I can’t run away with you.” She instantly pushed Tiffany back up into a sitting position.

Tiffany pulled the jacket off her head to look Jessica in the eye.

“Why not?” Her eyes were pleading with her.

Jessica looked away, not finding an appropriate answer; or at least, one that wouldn’t be a lie.

Tiffany was practically on Jessica’s lap, awaiting any kind of response.

“I know you hate this place just as much as I do.” Tiffany leaned forward, trying to grasp eye contact with Jessica again, but it seemed she refused to look her in the eye.

Jessica was frustrating herself; she couldn’t find the courage to look her in the eye. She’s afraid of trusting her and she doesn’t trust herself to look at the girl, afraid she might give in.

Jessica retrieved her legs from under Tiffany so the girl wouldn’t be hovering over her anymore. She needed her space to think.

Tiffany tried keeping calm, but she’s been waiting so long for this. Jessica was finally in her reach and the chance to leave this place happily with her was a fleeting piece of hope, but she was willing to fight for it.

Jessica glanced at Tiffany and immediately looked away.

“I- How?” Jessica was giving in.

Tiffany tried containing her smile.
“A suicide note. We take half their bank accounts and we fly away, to Paris.”

Jessica was captured in the idea of finally escaping.

“But wouldn’t they look for our bodies?” She couldn’t help the paranoia.

Tiffany smirked, “They’ll never find them, and we’ll never give them a clue either.”

Jessica wasn't convinced yet, “When?”

“Tomorrow night if everything goes as planned.” She grabbed Jessica’s hand to hold.

“I’ll pick you up and we’ll drive to the bank, then to the airport, and we’re gone.”
It was a fool proof plan.

Jessica looked at her doubtfully. “How will we explain the missing money?”

Tiffany forgot to mention the scheme of the suicide note.
“Do your parents care more about you or the money?”

“The money…” Jessica answered sadly and her head fell in sadness.

Tiffany picked her head back up and looked at her knowingly. She kissed her forehead and continued, “We’ll write the same thing in our letters ‘you cared so much for the money, I buried it with me so maybe you’d care as much for my death.’”

Tiffany’s smile faltered thinking how disappointing it was to have the same value as a material object.

Jessica gripped Tiffany’s hand tighter, trusting her completely and feeling the pain they shared.

“Passports?”

Tiffany reached for the ridden jacket and pulled out two miniature booklets.

“One for you, one for me. We’ll be flying into Russia and we’ll purchase a car to take us to France.”

“Our names?” Jessica looked at her anxiously.

“Open the passport” Tiffany watched Jessica eagerly.

Jessica read her passport and giggled.

“This totally doesn’t suit me!” Tiffany smiled at Jessica’s reaction.

“It does! Here, read mine!” Tiffany’s smile grew big and mischievous.

Jessica guffawed, “You’re so corny!!” Tiffany grinned from ear to ear.

“Yah! It’s cute, right?” Tiffany jested and Jessica grinned, but tears started to pool beneath her eyes.

“Aigoo, my wife is crying before we even leave.” Tiffany wiped the bottom of Jessica’s eyes before her tears could fall.

“It’s your fault, Emily Jung.” Jessica let out an amused scoff and Tiffany smiled before kissing her on her reddened nose.

“My apologies, Alice Hwang.” Tiffany smiled and Jessica mirrored her smile before cupping her face and pulling her down for another kiss.

“Demain soir?”

“Demain soir.”
