So I might have a job lined up at the MiRF this fall!!!
I didn't want a food service job, because I've heard they really suck, stuck in a booth all dayyyyyyyy, I couldn't handle it and tons of people have warned me not to do it. But this is only a few hours a day selling shirts for the Washing Wenches Show, I LOVE their show, and then I would have the rest of the day to do whatever, stay at the festival, leave (I'm sure I won't though). It only pays $30 a day plus commission, but like I said it's only a few hours, I get free admission all season, food paid for (most of the time) and I have to dress like the Wenches, LOL. I'm not too worried about my hair because I want to have it dreaded by then, so it'll already look scruffy. But have you seen their outfits??!? Man it'll be funny as hell, and you can come and point and laugh and take pictures and buy a shirt ;) Hopefully I'll get to know some other workers so I'll have someone to hang out with allllll afternoon every weekend, which I doubt will be hard since rennies usually are some of the most interesting and friendly people. I hope I don't have to talk in the accent while selling... I'm not really good with accents...
It's every weekend from the middle of August to the very last weekend of September, so I'm just warning Tor and Lor ^.^ If I get to work there, I'll be needing a place to stay the night, and guess who lives 20 minutes away from Holly? :D
I'm excited, just wanted to share that. Man...... it's only February >.< I suppose I should be thankful there is no snow right now...
