Happy New Year
So front page, first article of today's Times Herald... My mother said Sean Hannity talked about Josh on his show as well... You know how Republican he is, and boy he was pissed about the letter.
I knew him long ago. I was friends with his younger sister, Melissa. They lived a few houses down. We went to school and church together. He and I used to fight, lol, man I didn't like him. Not because he was a bad guy, but just because most of the boys annoyed me at that age. And he never let me get away with anything. I remember a time when he (a fifth grade bus patrol person) and I (a little 2nd grade pain in the ass) got into a yelling fight on the bus, ha ha. He was picking on his sister, as usual, and I kicked him in the leg for it LOL. But because he was on patrol he used his 'authority' to take me to the principal's office. Good times.
Anyways I haven't heard anything from them in so many years. It's just crazy to know some of the faces that are actually over there. It's upsetting to hear of what kids around our age are dealing with... and here I was worried about what to wear out to the bars the last two nights.. God I could not imagine waiting a week to know if I'm going to lose my leg. Poor guy. I really hope it doesn't come to that.
I think I am going to get a hold of them and write to him... just to say 'hey remember when...?'
