Well That was fun
We spent the weekend just passed learning to scuba dive.
Great fun, I learned waaay back in the day at Uni but then annoying things like projects and exams got in the way and I didn't take it up again.
This time we are doing the ol PADI open water diver qualification which can be done in 2 halves.
Part 1 was this weekend, the classroom stuff and the pool stuff.
Part 2 we will do in a few weeks in the Red Sea, to say I am looking forward to that is an understatement.
It snowed here on Sunday morning and our town had the worst of it, about 3 inches, luckily it was a weekend as that amount of snow on a weekday would have caused chaos, it is embarrassing to live in a country where normal weather seems to be treated as a natural disaster.
It looks like 2008 is going to be a banner year for holidays.
I made it home for a weekend in March
We spent Easter in Ireland,
We had a night away in London town.
we are off to the Red Sea in a few weeks,
we have family coming over in June (Including a trip to Normandy)
I am off fishing in Alaska in July
Home to the Hebrides in Sept
