I am on Google and find a book with a title that may help me in my "crash course" to better understand critical hermeneutics. When I scroll down and happen to see the name of the author, I quirk my eyebrow, slightly purse my lips, and utter a noncommittal, "Hmm." The world must indeed be getting smaller...
Casey, you would understand. It is Critical hermeneutics: A study in the thought of Paul Ricouer and Jürgen Habermas.
Authored by good ol' John B. Thompson.
... and on a totally meaningless and useless side note, it was published when I wasn't even born yet. As usual. Interesting that this was his thesis, and here I am, working on mine.
Gawd, I must be tired if I'm slightly tickled by this find.
