Not sure about the correctness of the Russian - i *really* miss my dictionary. I actually have a Russian phrasebook for you (i inherited it from Anna) which i was going to give you last weekend - i *told* you i had forgotten something.
The extra £80 is because the fee has an exponential increase depending on how late you get the application in (ie. next thursday is two days before my flight, so i have to pay much more to get the visa before i leave.) which is bloody annoying. The person in the GUM clinic was even more amused, i think, at the fact that this is my *second* hiv test in six months, and there is a 99.99% chance that it will *also* be negative.
I don't know when Pasha will get round to writing his damned paper (though i have asked him - he is now talking about repeating the year... useless!) and i am not sure about what he thinks about your opinion of him (though he knows far too much about what we were up to in 2001!)
What the hell?!?!?! Origami X-Wing?!?!?!?
Anyhow, i'm slightly more cheerful today. And at least this time my hand hasn't swollen where she stuck the needle in, even though Charlotte felt the need to whack it. Ouch.
