Here's my past few weeks, in a nutshell:

--finished 4 final essays (roughly 10-12 pages each), 1 take-home exam, 2 holiday articles for the holiday issue of The Brock Press, and 1 final project

--last Thursday: went to the Dinner of Miracles for Yad Vashem at the Sephardic Kehlia Centre in Thornhill.  First time Christians were invited to the event, which brings together Holocaust survivors and "young professionals" for a fancy feast where they tell us their stories.  Life was changed.  Got disgustingly lost in Brampton with my equally directionally-challenged friend.  Got home around 3 the next morning.

--last Saturday:  Christmas dinner with the relatives on my mom's side, including some step-cousins, not including my grandparents this year because they both passed away in 2008.  They were very missed.  Played every instrument on Rock Band.  Ate a lot of Louise (sister-in-law)'s shortbread cookies.  Had a blast.

--last Sunday: out for lunch at Boston Pizza with Louise's family.  Came home and whipped up at 12.5 page paper.

--finished Christmas shopping.  Bought most things locally.  All gifts are gift-wrapped and under the tree.

--cleaned iTunes, picture folders, and bookmark list of files I don't need

--completely cleaned and re-organized closet which hasn't been touched in years.  Threw out a ton of junk, including old notes from past courses, my grade 9 art folder, and useless crap I seem to hold on to but shouldn't

--completely cleaned, re-organized and alphabetized my bookshelf.

I feel so much lighter already.

COMING SOON:
--baking cookies
--visiting Eric in Toronto
--Christmas with Eric in Grimsby!
--New Years in Toronto!
--Saskatoon in January for the Canadian Universities' Press Conference!
