SUMMARY | Christmas is in full motion for The World, with plenty of activities to keep you busy and food to keep you full. Look inside for various things to do, organized by thread! This is your one-stop log for the entire event, but feel free to make your own spinoff logs or standalones!
LOG | There was a little bit of everything in The World for its first Christmas, from ice skating, to themed fields and dungeons, to arts and crafts and presents waiting for Christmas eve to be ripped open. The two server towns were decorated to the teeth in colorful lights and constant snowfall, although Lumina Cloth was less classical-- LED rope lights and 3D light displays were the main choice for the 24hr nighttime town, while Mac Anu had wreaths on every door, the warm spiciness of baked goods wafting from every cracked window, and mistletoe hung here and there inconspicuously in the high archways.
The fields were more promising yet-- caked in snow with themed monsters and holiday item drops like santa hats, elf suits, and a wide assortment of themed items like candy cane swords and gumdrop grimoires. But, as with all things, not even fields could hold a candle to the dungeons, entirely re-crafted in gingerbread.
Yes, Christmas was in full-swing in The World. How will you choose to celebrate?
( OOC | P.S. GUYS sorry I forgot to stick it in the event descrip but the mistletoe? Yeahhhh it kind of gravitates people into kissing when they near the mistletoe, whether they want to or not. :3a Players only, though, so no NPCs will be getting gratuitous amounts of action! )
