SUMMARY | The Omega server has been 're-opened' to the public. Come explore...?
LOG |
Watch your step as you exit the Chaos Gate. There's nothing in the area bar the platform that holds the Chaos Gate and a set of incomplete stairs that surround it, heading seemingly nowhere and suspended in space. There are bits and pieces of buildings and roads scattered through the empty server; an almost apocalyptic view of The World. The emptiness of the server only grows more oppressive when you realize that the only sound that can be heard is the gentle hum of the Chaos Gate at your back. There are no 'natural' sounds and any made by you and anyone else daring enough to come here is muted, as if the darkness of the server is affecting your senses.
No, don't leave yet! If you look to your right and left the stairwell continues and lead to two smaller platforms. Except for the edges, where bricks look like they're crumbling or are hovering just far enough for anyone entering to question it's structural integrity, the platforms look stable. Perched atop each of them is a kiosk; dark and foreboding but largely complete. All around the kiosks are boxes of all sizes holding what appears to be various juice containers inviting some investigation (and perhaps some liberating). A maximum of THREE juice containers may be claimed by each of the players. While you can pick up more, they cannot be used in the incomplete area and the extras will disappear once you exit the Omega Server, leaving only the first three juices that you took. Once you have left the area, these items cannot be dropped, sold or traded and stay in your inventory until you use them.
Another thing of note, your Relics seem to be malfunctioning; the communication function gives only static, the forum cannot be accessed and your inventory is filled with meaningless symbols. Good thing there aren't any monsters around in this area, huh? Though everything else seems to be on the fritz, at least the warp function still works, albeit at a much shorter range; you must be directly next to the Gate in order to exit the server.
For those more daring individuals, you can go against better judgement and wander to the edge of the platforms or stare off into the black space around you for a few minutes; there might be something interesting or familiar flitting behind the debris dotting the pitch black landscape...
[NOTE: the juices available and their effects;
Apple → +5000 HP
Orange → +5000 MP
Lemon → Increases ATT stat by 50
Pineapple → Increases DEF stat by 50
You may mix and match the types of juices you choose to pick up, but as previously stated you are only allowed a MAXIMUM of THREE juices in total. Powerful as they are, that they are located in such a strange location might warrant some caution... Take at your discretion. If your character picks up a juice and DOES NOT take it with them through the Chaos Gate, the item will not appear in your inventory upon returning to the Delta Server. The item only registers if you are carrying the juices in your hands/pockets/whathaveyou when you exit]
