I've taken a few sub-par flower photos*, mostly for my mom, who's still stuck in Ontario, despite the fact that I agree with certain people who commented that digital camera users who are still in the honeymoon period** should never be allowed to take pictures of flowers, pets or sunsets....but feel free to browse. I'm starting to get really annoyed with the fact that I can't manually focus my camera and instead have to wait for it to decide what it's going to focus on and then move around until the two of us reach a compromise. I refuse to compromise with a camera!!
Of course, there's not much I can do about it.
I'm really excited about the knitting collective concert - my dad and my sister are coming, as well as a few professors that I really like. We're hoping for a decent crowd, but as I've sold a total of 7 tickets, and still haven't given Bob his...well we'll see. I think we should have enough people to have fun at least, which is all that really matters. Alexis brought me to her community band and now I'm playing with them for their concert next week. Fun times. haha, I need to make reeds...I'll try to resist taking more pictures, but don't hold your breath - just be thankful I don't have any beeswax candles right now!
*a few US photos are there too, if you haven't seen them
**I think I still am, technically.
