I have to come up with an idea for a 3-5 minute film clip for my film class in the summer...I have no idea what to do - and the time is so short! Any ideas ( Read more... )

The cinematographer makes the pictures pretty, works with lighting, lens choices, framing. The director has a say in this, but the cine... is basically the director of photography.

yeah, I looked it up, was mostly musing, but I think I'm going to do that - making things look pretty is fun.

you can have a lot of fun s'long as you have a director that doesn't want to call all the shots. Thank goodness that you don't have to deal with a producer.

I figure I'll just bully whoever is directing into doing what I want. It'll be better that way.

...super...8...course? meh?? I don't think UBC has a super 8 course...um. Gifts? for me?
