- The two busdrivers I saw yesterday on our road who coordinated to block the road so a disabled man could cross, then made sure he got picked up by the bus, that made me smile a whole bunch.
-
- Taking the kids to music this morning and then to the library to 'buy new books' as Orlaith put it.
- Orlaith telling Jake that she doesn't taste like kisses, tastes like chicken
- Esme bringing me my shoes and saying 'there you go'
- Esme saying 'dirty, tidy, Daddy'
- Orlaith playing the enormous drum and dancing with a toy fox at her music class
- Esme throwing all the tomatoes on the floor with a big cheeky grin on her face, saying 'moooore, moooooore'
- Esme pointing to her jumper with a picture of a cat on it and saying 'mow, mow'
- Esme asking for a cup of 'moo' when she wants milk
- Orlaith telling me she has a secret to tell me then going psss psss psss psss psss in my ear so it tickles
- Orlaith playing with her lego and making up stories
- Orlaith explaining to me that she has five children but no husband, that her husband died in a war, he wasn't a soldier, he just died.
- Esme looking at things that interest her, leaning right in and whispering 'wooooooooow' in reverent hushed tones.
I have lots to smile about at the moment.
