Apparently, not quite to that level yet...

I had not been back to the PayPal Development Portal for a long time -- years. I went back today and discovered it had changed so much I not only had to re-register, I will have to research terms before attempting to build a "Feed the kitty" button on my web site. I am doing a lot better, but this was overwhelming, so I am returning to Alfreda, who is getting a smallpox vaccination so she can go to a wizard's school.

In other news, the nice person at Global Cash Card reduced all my fees to $8.00, closed the account, and apparently it does not impact my credit -- it just hangs in limbo for years. I could wipe it clean by depositing money in it, but then I'd have to close it again, and not accidentally use it after emptying it. Absolutely bizarre, and I hope I don't have to work for an employer who pays this way, because you cannot transfer money from accounts like these, there's a horrendous fee. You can only use it as a debit. So this will be ignored for a time.

The car brakes are back on the table, and the shop owner is Put Out with the mechanic who measured the rotors. Nothing crazed, but labor and shoes will be around $210. So, the tax refund and the money to be made next month house sitting are now in the car column. He has kindly offered me a payment plan on the brakes, since they did not evaluate it properly. I might do that, but may just put it on the card and take the Amazon points...or maybe AMEX and the percentage. And pay it off at the end of the month, as I do.

Of course I'm buying my Powerball and MM tickets this weekend. It does less damage to my budget or my health than drinking.
