Dr. Gail "Doc" Walker's service was perfect. It was teary and sobbing, It was funny and lighthearted, It was just what the Doctor Ordered. I have a copy of the poem and letter Dan Siess Rain read and am e-mailing Sue Maybery to see if I can get a copy of her reading at the memorial. If anyone want's copies of these, I'll be happy to forward

Naw, not too much trouble at all! As soon as I get the one from Prof Mayberry, I'll send them both. Her stories were Right On. Were you at the service on Friday?

No, sadly, though I would have loved to be there. She was my favorite professor by far.

Too bad you couldn't go. Sue Mayberry's was something to hear cause she is a fabulous story teller and does an amazing impression of Doc. I've e-mailed her, but not heard back yet. But hey...some don't lurk at our computers all day. :)
