Dr. Gail "Doc" Walker's service was perfect. It was teary and sobbing, It was funny and lighthearted, It was just what the Doctor Ordered. I have a copy of the poem and letter Dan Siess Rain read and am e-mailing Sue Maybery to see if I can get a copy of her reading at the memorial. Naw, not too much trouble at all! As soon as I get the one from Prof Mayberry, I'll send them both. Her stories were Right On. Were you at the service on Friday?

No, sadly, though I would have loved to be there. She was my favorite professor by far.

Then I can only assume you have impeccable taste. Gail's the finest human being I've gotten to call friend yet!!!

Too bad you couldn't go. Sue Mayberry's was something to hear cause she is a fabulous story teller and does an amazing impression of Doc. I've e-mailed her, but not heard back yet. But hey...some don't lurk at our computers all day. :)
