Well, today was a lot of figuring things out and having to do rearranging including vacation time.

As for vacation time, I don't have much left having used a lot due to sick days. So a few things are curtailed due to this. Arranged it so I have time used for a couple family weekends and the rest of the time to do other things is out the window. This includes time off to be able to even get to a LARP at a decent time, etc. None of the LARPs I know of are any closer than around 4 hours from my house. I really liked the one I tried this spring knowing I had a chance of making the few events they had a year, I never made all of LIONE/EoS events due to a miriad of things. So back to the skip the LARP stuff so I can do the family and other important stuff.

I've come to the conclusion that I'm at the weight my body wants to be at under the current conditions. It isn't a bad weight and I feel good. I just need to keep track of what I am doing so I don't go up again. It would be nice to hit the weight watchers goal which is staying 8 to 10 pounds away, but I haven't been able to really change anything to get the last bit off. I'm not really caring right now if I do get it off. All I care is that I don't go above the four pound range I'm bouncing in. I think part of this is just due to stress from work. This place is so screwy at times it drives me nuts and I get fried at times. HA! It's also the fact that every time I try to ramp up my exercise some, it just doesn't wind up maintained. I can maintain regular walking and some things, but I definitely ain't getting through an 8 week program just to run a 5K. So I think I'll play around with it when I feel like it because it is rather cool, but not to the level they expect. So I'm thinking of canceling WW for now and saving 40 bucks a month until I'm sure my body wants to be ligter (i.e. When I want to tweak my eating and exercising more to lose them 8 or so pounds =P).

On a good note I did crank out two chapters on my book attempt this weekend. One was sort of started during the week, but I got on a roll. The funny thing is that I usually have to stop after the one chapter and then let the brain prep for the next one. Part of this is how I am writing in two points of view and I switch between the two as the story progresses. So the fun thing is making sure I'm really in the right POV for the next piece and I have to make sure my brain knows who is supposed to be "telling" the story. So the POV swapping like I am slows things down a tad, but so far I think it is going all right. I'm not ready to sign up for that Journeyman novel writing class from the Christian Writer's Guild yet, but I know I will want to take it sometime in the near future - start sometime in the next year if the finances allow.

Since I wasn't feeling that great and it rained all weekend, I played Warhammer way too much. At least I was entertained during a rare insomniac attack on Saturday. Maybe I'll feel better when it clears up and we start having real summer weather - predicted for Wednesday here. This rain and 70 to 75 for a high every day for the past couple weeks has to end! I really don't want it over 80, but SUN would be great!
