From bookface for my memory

Theatrical Idea: Reenactments of great/signifigant meetings of the Royal Society. Like when Newton introduced the Principia Mathmatica, or Darwins paper etc,.... the audience would be like lesser fellows observing the proceedings (could even get them to don wigs and jackets :P)

Oliver Murray it would be interesting... some of the papers being read would be totally absurd.. (this was the era of flogistan and choleric being considered the thing that makes fire and heat, and of the beginnings of electricity).. and mixed in would be papers that really changed things

Oliver Murray it was also the time vacume pumps were invented.. and there were huge debates about vacumes being possible (the were considered impossible for about 2200 years :P

Oliver Murray it would be cool just to have a bunch of guys (for they were all men at that time) in silly wigs and clothes... talking with thick english in the dawn of what we would call science (before there even was such a term)

Oliver Murray now if only I could get hold of some minutes of the Royal Society, some costumes, a set, and some actors... oh and a audience I guess :P
